Chapter 11

"So, what did you need to ask me (Y/N)?" Alfred asked pulling me away from my thoughts. "well... its about Mystery....." as soon as I said that Alfred gave me a glare. "Is that all you come to me for? Just mystery this and mystery that all that fucking time" he growled. I was a little surprised at how aggressive Alfred was but after he sighed and calmed down a little once he lighted a cigarette and smoked it. "I'm sorry but it's honestly sad that you only come to me when it's mystery, like can't we ever hang out without needing something for mystery?" He said a lot calmer now. I was glad he calmed down but what he said was true, I can't just keep coming to him like this I feel like I was just using him and his medical skills.

~Alfred's POV~
I realized my jealousy slipped out and I accidentally nearly lost it in front of (Y/N). However I quickly apologized, still it's not fair that she cares so much about Mystery. Why can't she be like that with me? "I'm sorry...but this is really important and I promise I'll hang out with you as soon as this is over" she said softly. There she goes again....I sighed, well at least she will hang out after this, now let's see what is so important "fine...what's wrong now with him?" I asked. She would pause a little, she almost seemed like she didn't know where to start with her words. "Well....I don't know...he was spewing black stuff in the sink and..." I gave a concerning look her way. Spewing black stuff? Wtf did Mystery do to himself now? What did he eat?? "And yea... he nearly killed me I guess?" She continued. Hold on...nearly killed her? I knew he wasn't to be trusted. "I'll have a look at him I guess, tho from your description, spewing black stuff is not really much help" I told her. What was I getting myself into...well this was all for her, I wasn't doing this for mystery but for her.

I immediately jumped up and hugged Alfred "thank you so much!" I was so happy he was going to help. It seemed my hug took him by surprise as he froze a little but eventually hugged back. After I let go he seemed like he was... blushing? I shrugged it off. Now I needed to go back and check how mystery was doing, hopefully he didn't murder Rex while I was gone. "Well I'll go get Mystery then and leave u guys to have ur breakfast" I said. Alfred would give a small nod and walked me to the door. "Well bye (Y/N), see you soon" he said as he waved goodbye as I left. I gave him a wave goodbye before making my way back to the confusing streets. Now time to go back through the hell I had to go through before and try to find Mystery... I hopped they were back where I left them..
