Chapter 7

Katy P.O.V.
Wait I knew it was Alexis and I'm just as scared as she is. Before we actually straighten this out there's a knock at the door and she opens it.
"Oh hey Lexi mind if I have a chat with Katy over there?" Hayes asked.
Ugh Hayes not he's gonna tell me to go home. Which I think I want to,but then I'll ruin it for the other O2L boys. Plus then one of them can't go to vidcon next week and I'll feel extra guilty. So I have to stay.
"Yeah uh sure. Hold on." Lexi said and closed the door alittle.
"We'll talk later. Sure you wanna talk to Hayes?" She asked and I nodded. She opened the door again and in walked Hayes as she shut it and plopped in a chair.
"Katy!" Hayes said and hugged me. Not the reaction I was expecting.
"Hayes not now." I whispered.
"It's fine. I know Hayes is your brother." Lexi chimed in.
"HOW DOES SHE KNOW?!" Hayes whisper yelled.
"Remember my only friend Alexis who got driven away by Nash and them?" I asked and slowly he nodded.
"Well she's sitting over there." I whispered.
"Look I know that your scared about-"
"Yeah Hayes I am. They're all alot taller. I feel defenseless again but I have to stay I have to be strong." I said as I felt my cheeks get wet with tears. Hayes wiped them off with his sleeve.
"The event isn't for two days. Plus you look alot...well different. They won't recognize you so hide under the radar." Hayes said and I nodded. I didn't quite catch it all. But I got enough.
"Thanks." I whispered and hugged him.
"For what?"
"Being there for me. Noone really gets it. Nash didn't even notice...that I left. He didn't look. He didn't recognize his own sister for crying outloud!" I yelled alittle louder than I should've and burst out of the room and ran down the hall. I could hear someone following so I quickened my steps.
Hayes P.O.V.
"Hey Alexis. Guess it's just us. She's stubborn sometimes and dramatic." I said awkwardly.
"It's fine. Nice to uh see you again." She replied. Just as awkward.
"Can I talk to you? I was going to with Katherine but obviously I-"
"She goes by Katy." I interrupted.
"Oh sorry. But anyway...." She went on about her being Carters twin,living with Jenn and everything.
"I see how you and Katy are friends." I laughed.
"Whats that supposed to mean?" She sassed back.
"Both twins,both ran away,both...well actually she didn't run away I took her after..after. Anyway that doesn't matter. Sorry Lexi I should go." I said and gave her a hug as Ricky rushed in.
"Is it safe now?" He asked.
"Yeah." Lexi laughed and he walked over to her.
"So Hayes how is she?" Carter asked,I wonder if he does care about Lexi.
"Fine." I muttered and he pretended like nothing happened and started messing around with the guys. Wait where's Taylor? Shoot.
Taylor P.O.V.
"Why did Lexi run away?" I laughed as everyone began to follow. "Well thanks for the memo then." I mumbled.
After awhile Lexi and Katy left to their room and I was bored of doing smack cams and everything with the guys so I started walking towards the room I saw them enter.
"Nash didn't even notice...that I left. He didn't look. He didn't recognize his own sister for crying outloud!" I heard someone yell then slam the door on their way out. Katy? I followed her and she seemed to notice because she started walking faster then finally she sat down on a bench and started crying.
Do I go up to her or not? I guess I will I owe her that much.
"Hey beautiful." I said and sat down next to her.
"I'm not in the mood for flirting." She said and sounded a bit scared.
"It's Taylor."
"Yeah I know."
"I know it's you Katherine." I said and she perked up.
"How.."
"I heard. I'm sorry I wanted to check on you and I'm sorry for everything the guys and I did to you." I said.
Katy P.O.V.
"I'm sorry for everything the guys and I did to you." Taylor said and he sounded serious.
"It's fine,but I still can't forgive you all." I said.
"Still stubborn and beautiful like the last time I saw you when you broke your arm." He smirked.
Flashback
"Look Katherine,I know you're Hayes's tutor," yeah that's what Nash tells everyone as an excuse of me being here."but since Nash's mom isn't here Nash is gonna do something bad to you." Taylor whispered. How did he expect me to trust him?! I mean he's never hurt me,but he's friends with them.
"Oh you're probably lying. I have a right to go in that room." I said stubbornly and burst inside. He grabbed my wrist,but I shook him off. I don't think he gripped me hard because he didn't wanna frighten me.
"Please Katherine don't." He whispered.
"Ya lyin' " I said (HAHA MATT REFERENCE. ANY MATT GIRLS OUT THERE?) i shut the door so he wouldn't lie to me.
"It's so nice." I whispered more to myself as I looked over the small balcony then walked back into my room.
"GO!" Someone,Aaron yelled.
"Wh-"
"SMACK CAM!" Carter yelled and smacked my face.
"Ow what the heck." I moaned and grabbed my face.
"Brave one to talk to carter like that." Jack J. Smirked.
"Right you are Johnson." Jack g. Agreed and shoved me to the ground.
I could hear laughter between the boys. My head was pounding and that's all I knew.
"ONE LAST THING!" Nash yelled and kicked my arm so hard. I know he had a hard kick because he was on the football team. They all laughed then left. I felt like I was dying when the door opened.
"OMG WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED?!" Hayes yelled and I couldn't even talk I blacked out.
I only remember waking up in a hospital then going home,Hayes helped me pack up and took me to JC who I've been with ever since.
End of Flashback
"Katy Katy Katy please don't be dead!" Someone said and I blinked my eyes opened. I was laying on Taylor's lap? It was a bit weird and comforting at the same time.
"Oh uh sorry." He said and I sat up.
"It's fine."
"You uh blacked out and I thought you uh....died. I was scared Katy. I'm happy your fine. You are right? What happened?" He asked worriedly.
"I know I'm fine I just had a flashback." I said. This was the first time someone besides the O2L boys have seen me have one.
"I'm sorry was it because of me?" Taylor asked and he looked sad and sorry.
"Yeah,but it's fine it's just that day I broke my arm." I said quietly. "I shouldn't have been so stubborn. Thanks for caring."
"No I should've stopped it,but I went and got Hayes why didn't I stay and help fend them off. Why was I scared?" Taylor cried,wow he was......crying?
