Lexi
I sat in me and Matt's apartment, a permanent frown on my face.
"Lexi" said Matt.
"What Espinosa?" I said.
"I got a text from Jenn" he said.
"What did she say" I said putting an arm over my face and laying down on the couch.
"She's asking if I've seen you, again" he said.
"Tell her you haven't, I just can't face them" I said.
"She's calling, shut up" he said and I clamped my mouth shut.
"Jenn! whats up?!" he said.
"Oh nothing much, how is everyone?" he asked.
"So everyone basically split up, yup, still no sign of Carter" he said, I covered my face with my hands, Carter, I couldn't bare to hear his name without wanting to burst into tears.
"Connor left O2L? really? why? Oh Katy......she disappeared?!" he said, I just kinda zoned out then, staring in to space.
"Okay, bye Jenn, see you around I guess" he said and hung up, as if on que, my phone rang, I looked to Matt.
"Hello?" I said.
"Lexi! Oh My God!" said Jack J.
"You dirty bastard, you even bother to call me, how do you even have my number?" I asked through grit teeth.
"I have my ways" he said.
"Screw off, I don't need you in my life alright Jack" I snapped, his name left a bad taste in my mouth.
"Please, Lexi I can explain" he said.
"Uh, I'd rather you didn't you a**hole" I said.
"But Lexi-" he said but I hung up.
"Lexi" Matt said and hugged me, I sighed and lay my head on his shoulder, we're just friends alright? nothing more, nothing less.
Matt
I felt so bad for Lexi, its been a year and Alexa still has Carter, we've been roommates for a year and she's never shown any positive emotion, its like Alexa drained it from her.
"How you feeling?" I asked her.
"Meh" she said and I sighed.
"You get any texts from Alexa?" I asked.
"No" she said.
"How do you think Carter's doing?" I asked, she drew in a sharp breath and turned away.
"I don't even know if he's alive much less how he's doing" she said.
"Carter is alive, its the only thing I can assure you of right now, but I'm pretty sure he is" I said.
"Then why did Alexa stop the texts? if she still had Carter she would be asking to do stuff left and right" she said.
"Who knows" I said and she let out a shaky breath.
"What if-" I stopped her before she could say anything negative.
"No Lexi, stop, Alexa is just using Carter against you, of you want we can ask Sam and Trevor-" she cut me off.
"No, I can't do that, Connor and Katy, I crushed them, if Connor left O2L because of me....I can't forgive myself for doing that" she said and stood up and went to her room, I sighed, she was just rarely out of her room anymore, I missed that energetic, funny, happy girl she used to be, I wish things would just go back to normal, sadly, I know the world is not a wish granting factory.
