[HEY. So um, after part 6 I kinda posted the wrong parts... so erm, start reading from part 6 again for a clearer story! Sorry! >< xx]

"Eleanor, hurry up, we gotta go now if we wanna be there by 3!" Gen yelled from downstairs.
"God, relax, Gen! Is Nath here yet?" I said, running down the stairs.
"He's outside with Shadow."
"Alright, let's go!"

I sat in the car beside Nathan, with Shadow on the passenger seat beside Gen.
"Does your mom know you're going home?"
"Ahh, no. So it'll be a little surprise for them."
"Aw, seems sweet."
"How old's your brother turning?"
"16," I replied. "I don't usually go over for his birthdays, but it's his sweet 16 and even though he's a guy... Well, y'know."
"Yeah, yeah, I get it," Nathan chuckled. "So what's the plan?"
"Uh, a barbecue is confirmed."
"A lot of Eliot's friends are gonna be there," Gen added herself in the conversation. "So don't be surprised if you see her wandering around the neighborhood."
"This time I'd probably be drunk." I joked.

We continued the conversations, adding anything and everything until we reached Gloucester.
"Tell your brother happy birthday for me. And maybe I'll see you around," he winked before he walked to his house.
"See you," I called out.

"Eli!" I shouted, when I saw my younger brother on his stake board by the side of the car.
"Eleanor!" He called back.
"Right, you can drop me off here," I told Gen. "See you tonight at the party, babe."

I was greeted by all of my family; my parents, my brothers and Shadow came running behind me barking excitedly.
"Hey Eliot," I heard a female's voice. I turned around to see Jess Sykes; Nathan's younger sister.
"Hi, Jess," Eliot replied. Eliot's never been this shy talking to a girl.
"Just wanted to wish you happy birthday," Jess said.
"This must be so awkward for him," Evan said and we both chuckled with dad, getting a stern look from mom.
"Oh my God," Jess said checking her phone. "My brother's home. I'll see you tonight, Eliot."
"Wait, are they together?" I asked Evan when I pulled him aside.
"You know Eli, he never really tells us anything."
"That would be so awkward."
"Why?" Evan asked. "Oh my God, are you dating Nathan?"
"No, no, no, shhh! But I am falling in love with him."
"Ooohhh," Evan teased.
"Well what about you?" Two can play at this game. "Didn't you have a reputation as the heartthrob? Now your 2 younger siblings are having budding relationships, wouldn't that rep be at risk?"
"Oh shut up, you," he replied, wrapping his arm around my neck and messing up my hair.

This is perfect. Being with my family again this way.
