Every single year(I've lived in Virginia (like, three years)), when we're shopping for costumes we always end up going to that store.
Every. Single. Year.
I This store doesn't play when it comes to Halloween decoration, there are huge jumpscare/creepy-ah-get-me-the-hell-away-from-this displays and tv's constantly playing clips of horror movies. I can't go in there with out clinging to one of my parents(still don't know how I feel about them) as we walk through the door, because that's where the most scary things are. I'm talking hyper-realistic clowns, detailed gored scenes, jump scares, sound effects, the whole nine miles. This store is called The Halloween Spirit store.
They sell almost everything Halloween related, if it's scary, it's there. No matter how much I protest, if we don't have costumes, we go in. It is the absolute worst.
But this year, I think we might have managed to skip it. I decided to actually buy a costume instead of assembling it this year (kinda scared it'll suck) and so did my little sister. Bug my older sister wants to do a cosplay thing. She has to make that costume of of stuff we buy from individual stores. Every other Halloween I've assembled my own costume, because I never liked what they had(this year I sally from the nightmare before Christmas tho), this year I only didn't because my mom was being unbearable about it.
(that's the character my older sister is going as)
But we might have to go again if my sister can't find all the pieces for her costume/cosplay.
