Chapter Five: I don't Wanna go down to the Basement

Joey, Johnny, and Tommy all rush into the house all at once. Johnny immediately notices Victoria.

"Hey Dee Dee, who's the broad?"

"Guys, this is Victoria. She's the girl I've been telling you about."

"Hey! How ya doin'?" Joey asks with a friendly smile.

"It's nice to meet you, Victoria." Tommy says, and he walks over to shake her hand.

"Listen, Vicky." Johnny says.

"Whoever you are, don't ever call me Vicky. It's Victoria."

"Oh yeah, this is Joey, Tommy, and Johnny." Dee Dee says introducing the band members to Victoria.

"Anyway this is a private party. You need to leave, honey."

"It's a pleasure to meet you too, Johnny." Victoria says, as she gives Johnny the middle finger. Everyone but Johnny and Victoria laugh.

"Dee Dee, I need to talk to you in the kitchen, now!" Johnny yells.

Dee Dee and Johnny walk to the kitchen to engage in a private conversation.

"John, please don't ruin this for me. I really, really like her."

"Fine, but are we gonna practice or what? And if she causes anymore fucking drama, she's gone!"

Johnny and Dee Dee both walk out of the kitchen.

"Ok guys! Time to head down to the basement to practice!"Dee Dee shouts.

"Basement?" Victoria asks with a frightened look on her face. "I don't wanna go down to the basement!"

"Why not? What's the matter, baby?" Dee Dee asks, as he takes Victoria in his arms.

"I've had severe claustrophobia since I was a little girl."

"Well you can always stay up here, by yourself." Johnny smirks.

"Maybe if I called one of friends over. Would that be ok? Victoria asks Timidly.

"You're bringing a female friend, right?" Joey asks with a grin.

"Yes. I'm calling my friend, Natalie."

Joey was now grinning even wider. Though not everyone was delighted. Especially, Johnny.

"What the hell is going on? What is this? A fucking blind date?"

"Take it easy, John." Tommy says, patting Johnny on the shoulder. "We could use an audience."

While the guys discuss what songs they will be practicing, Victoria calls her friend, Natalie.

"She says she should be here soon."

"Johnny, Joey, come help me set up in the basement." Tommy requests.

"You guys go ahead. I'll stay up here for now." Dee Dee says.

About ten minutes later, the doorbell rings and the rest of the band runs back up stairs. Victoria answers the door, and greets her friend with a hug.

"Natalie! Thanks so much for coming!"

"No problem, girl! Hey, who's the tall one over there? He is super cute!"

"I think his name is Joey. Go talk to him!"

Joey's eyes light up the moment he sees Natalie. She's gorgeous. 5'7, dark brown hair, light brown skin, Hazel brown eyes.

All six of them make their way down to the basement. Dee Dee wraps his arms around Victoria, and carefully leads her and Natalie to a couch.

"Make yourselves comfy." Joey says with a big smile.

"I'd be more comfortable, with you here next to me, sexy!" Natalie says winking at Joey.

Finally it was time for the Ramones-to play. Dee Dee counted off "1-2-3-4!" And they played 'Judy is a punk'. It was loud and fast, and like nothing they'd ever heard before. The girls' mouths were both wide open. And they were in total shock. The band wasn't sure if the girls loved or hated it, until Natalie and Victoria looked at each other with huge smiles and began clapping and cheering loudly.

"That was amazing!" smiled Victoria.
