Chapter Four: She's the One

Today had been a day of mixed emotions, to say the least. Dee Dee couldn't stop thinking about Victoria, or about that kiss in the taxicab. Though, he was also absolutely furious that he had forgotten to get Victoria's phone number.

Dee Dee remains alone in his house, which at the moment is as messy as his emotions. There are clothes scattered all across the couch, as well as the floor. There are beer cans all over the coffee table, some empty, some not so empty.

Finally something clicked in Dee Dee's brain. He should go down to that fancy restaurant, and get her number from the hostess. What was her name? Oh yeah. Dominika. Yeah. That's it! No. Maybe he should just call. That's definitely a better idea.

Dee Dee moves over some of the trash and picks up the phone from the coffee table. Conveniently, the phone book is already on the couch next to him. He flips quickly through the pages until he finds the number he needs. He dials, and it rings approximately four times, someone answers.

"Umm, hello is Dominika there?"

After a few minutes, Dominika is put on the line.

"Hello? Who is this?"

"Hi. My Name is Dee Dee. I was there with Victoria last night. Is this the pretty Russian hostess I'm speaking with?"

"Well, yes I suppose that I am her. What is it you wish to speak with me about?"

"Dominika, has Victoria been by there lately?"

"No. Not since last night."

"Ok. Can you tell her I called, and that I'm looking for her? Thanks so much, sweetheart." Dee Dee says as he hangs up the phone. Luckily, Dee Dee was smart enough to give the friendly hostess his phone number before hanging up the telephone.

Now, all he had to do was was just wait for Victoria to call. While Dee Dee was waiting for the lovely and mysterious Victoria to call, he decided it was best to clean up his messy house. After all, the rest of the Ramones were coming over for band practice at Four in the afternoon, and that was only three hours away.

After about an hour, Dee Dee is finally finished cleaning the house. It's not perfect, but it will work just fine, for band practice. Besides, the band was only going to be practicing in the basement. At the very instant Dee Dee sits down on the couch to relax, the phone rings.

"Hello?"

"Dee Dee? I need to see you." The voice on the line replies, sounding a bit depressed.

" Victoria?! Where are you? I'll come get you!"

"No. It's ok. I'll come to you. .

After approximately an hour and a half later, there's a knock at the door. It's Victoria, and she's not exactly sober to say the least. She's wearing a New York Dolls t-shirt and faded blue jeans. Her breath smells slightly of cheap whiskey and cigarettes. Dee Dee greets her as he lets her in.

"Hi. I'm glad you made it. In fact, I'm actually kinda shocked you even called me."

Dee Dee, noticing Victoria's lack of sobriety, heads into the kitchen to make her some coffee.

"W-w-wait. W-w-wheeere are you goin' Dee Dee? You didn't even give me a kiss!"

Unaware that Victoria had followed him into the kitchen, Dee Dee turns around quickly, and sees her.

"Here, I made you some coffee."

"I don't want coffee. I want you." Victoria hiccups, as she takes off  her shirt, stumbling as she does so.

Dee Dee immediate sets down the cup of coffee onto the counter, and quickly races to Victoria.

They gaze into one another's eyes for what seems like an eternity. Dee Dee caresses her cheek softly with just the tip of his thumb. The awful smell of cheap whiskey is overpowered by the lovely scent of her pink sweet pea fantasy body spray.

"You look so hot right now." Dee Dee whispers in her ear, as he kisses her neck. He presses his lips against hers, their soft, and he can taste her sweet raspberry lip gloss. Victoria moans quietly as the kiss, and becomes more intense. A stern knock on the door forces the kiss to break abruptly. As their lips parted Dee Dee couldn't help but think to him self "She's the one."

"That's the guys! Hurry up, put your shirt back on!"

"Aww! You're no fun!" Victoria whines, putting her shirt on.

Dee Dee walks out of the kitchen, into the living room and over to the front door and slowly opens it.
