Chapter Twelve: You're gonna kill that Girl

This was all wrong. It wasn't supposed to happen this way. Dee Dee was certain that when he saw Ruby, he was going to tell her to hit the road. He was going to tell her about Victoria. Instead he was absolutely speechless.

"Aren't you gonna say hi?"

"Ugh. I don't know." Dee Dee says, as he walks over to the bed, and takes a seat.

"It's alright. Maybe we don't need to talk at all. Look over there on the nightstand. I brought us some goodies." Ruby says.

Dee Dee looks to the nightstand as directed, and sees a baggie of coke. Ruby gives him a mischievous smile as she reaches into the pocket of the bathrobe, and pulls out a straw​, she hands Dee Dee the straw. He goes to the nightstand, prepares the coke and snorts two lines.

"Do you feel better now, baby?" Ruby asks.

"Yeah, but I gotta tell you something."

"Not right now." Ruby says, as she sits down on the bed next to Dee Dee. She moves closer to Dee Dee, and puts her hand on his thigh. Dee Dee tries to resist, but to no avail. Maybe it was the coke, maybe it was the fact that Ruby had just opened her robe.

"If we're gonna do this, I have to be honest."

"Ok."

"I have a girlfriend." Dee Dee confesses, with a guilty look on his face. Dee Dee leans closer to Ruby.

Dee Dee puts both hands on Ruby's shoulders. He slowly takes the bathrobe off of her. He looks her up and down. He stares at her body in awe.
"You are beautiful, Ruby."

He slowly moves his head towards hers, he brushes her fiery red hair behind her ear. He hesitates before letting his lips meet hers. Her lips are soft and moist. He feels guilty, but he just can't pull himself away. Suddenly, there's a loud knock at the door.

"Expecting someone, are we?" Ruby asks, as she plants sloppy kisses all over Dee Dee's neck.

Dee Dee hopes it's Mr. Sherman, or one of the guys from the band. Right now, Dee Dee would've been happy to see just about anyone other than Victoria. Unfortunately, that's exactly who was at the door.

Dee Dee quickly goes to answer the door. He opens the front door, steps outside, and closes the door behind him.

"Victoria, hi. I've really gotta talk to you."

"Ok. Well, you can talk to me inside, and you can explain why I can smell a woman's perfume on you." Victoria says, also noticing the lipstick marks on his neck. Victoria does her best to remain calm.

Dee Dee and Victoria are startled, as Ruby suddenly opens the front door.

"Oh! I get it. You must be the new girlfriend! Well, you're pretty, I'll give you that!" Ruby steps outside, and puts her arms around Dee Dee.

"Ruby back off. I made mistake. It was just a mistake."

"You don't mean that. Now come back in, and let's finish what we started."

"Get off of him, you bitch!" Victoria screams, as she pulls Ruby off of her boyfriend. Ruby falls to the ground. Before getting back up she spots a beer bottle on the ground, she grabs it and breaks it.

"Ruby! Put that down! You're gonna kill that girl!" Dee Dee shouts.
