I rubbed my eyes free from the tiredness that burned them, the laptop screen still shone brightly awaiting my reaction on the mouse pad as I looked at the finished photos.

"Seriously, you're killing me." I whispered lifting my arms up in order to stretch and click my back. The nape of my neck burned from the lactic acid which had built up from lack of movement.

The silence of my apartment was shattered as the vibration of my phone buzzed across the coffee table. Glancing down at the screen, I scoffed. "Not today Satan.. Not today."

Of course it wasn't Satan. It was more of a distraction, but he turned into Satan when I was facing the firing squad for a late deadline..

It stopped giving me some temporary relief before it started again and his sexy smirk came across the screen.

'But how can you say no?' The small voice inside asked.

Easily.. You just don't answer that call. Because he will give you sweet nothings, fuck you into next week and leave as quick as he arrived.

'What a vulgar way of words.'

Suck it bitch.

I frowned at the sexy smirk, remembering the last time he came into this apartment. He was frustrated, annoyed and his frustration was taken out on me..

Never was he violent, but rough. Yes.

I massaged my side in the memory of the bruises he had left. The sheer force of his thrusts and the heaviness of his hands as he pinned me into place.

Eventually whatever he was going through, it broke. He stopped dead in his tracks and withdrew, taking himself and both of our enjoyment with him as he got dressed. Neither of us satisfied, I felt used, like a booty call, which was what it was coming down too. I watched him grab his keys, give me one last look as I pulled the sheet around me before he left.

Sighing, I flipped the phone over to hide the view of his face, it brought the guilt in me to a small stop and I focused on trying sending the photos over and finishing for the night.

'What if he finds someone else?'

Then let him. You're not desperate. Repeat. You. Are. Not. Despe-

I never finished my pep talk as the key slid into the lock and the door opened behind me, allowing a breeze to creep in. The smell of leather, vanilla and sandalwood caught my nose instantly.

Well shit.

My phone began to vibrate again..

"Oh so it does work, you're just ignoring me." Zak spoke as the door clicked closed.

"I'm real busy with wo-"

"Too busy to take a 5 minute call?" He snapped making me close the laptop lid down.
