I was stood fixing up breakfast when Zak walked in dressed in black with his glasses on his face. We both traded each other small smirks before he greeted Bacon and sat at the kitchen table where I had laid out the breakfast utensils.
"I didn't know you could cook?" Zak questioned. "I presumed you ate ramen noodles all day. You know, a little water and bam."
I rolled my eyes "Funny."
"You've never made me breakfast." He added before his eyes widened slightly at his confession. My flipping of the pancakes paused and my hand tightened on the spatula waiting for Bacon to notice.
"Yo dawg look at this." Bacon laughed turning his phone to Zak. When the coast was clear, I let out a gentle sigh of relief and continued on with breakfast.
"Here." I smiled delivering a healthy size stack of fresh pancakes.
"Hmm. Come sit." Zak ordered pulling out the chair beside him.
We ate breakfast and maintained a good conversation until both men were full and I was sickly full of eating pancakes with maple syrup.
"Oh bro. Ate like a king." Bacon spoke rubbing his stomach.
"I'm with you dawg."
"Leave the plates, I'll do it." I smiled with slight pain.
"I'm gonna have a cigarette." Bacon informed us as he stepped out the room, clearly glad to avoid any cleaning up.
Zak's hand stroked down the back of my head. "Good morning."
"Morning." I replied leaning as he pulled me over to his personal space to kiss me on the cheek.
A warmness flushed through my body and I smiled at him widely. "So I have a question.." He began looking at the table cloth which held small blue dots.
"Go on."
"After last night, I was wondering if maybe I could sleep in with you again?" He questioned delicately.
I lowered my head to hide the shit eating smirk I was now wearing. "You really want too?"
"Absolutely."
"Even after pinning you down to pluck those brows?" I teased.
He nose dived into my neck and laid soft kisses causing a shiver to travel up my spine. "Let me.."
My head lulled to the side and against his hand as he knew how quick I was under his spell, his gentle approach to my neck always sent me off into a Neverland..
"Y-yes." I barely whispered as my fingers tightened into fists.
"Good girl.." He breathed into my ear before moving away. My head slopped back suddenly when his hand moved away, snapping me back into the rental home.
I had to shake myself in order to grasp what had happened and realised that Zak knew my weakness instantly and he would extort it to suit him.. And I didn't mind.
He helped clear the plates away whilst Bacon set up the RV and properly secured the small trailer that contained all the camera equipment. I washed and stacked the plates away ready to place away later.
"So tell me about this lockdown?" I asked Zak looking over to see him brooding away. A part of me wished that I didn't when he explained how there was a man and he had an attachment to a demon, which wouldn't let go. I worried for him, for Billy, Jay and of course Aaron who seemed to attract more demonic activity after the hellfire rituals and the Bloody Mary rituals too.
"It's dangerous. Which is why you're not coming with us when we do a lockdown." He added.
"What? Why? I can help, you said there's kids and I can maybe talk with them? I can work a camera, that's why I'm here right? To take photos? I can also work the video camera, help you guys set up the equipment?"
