I awoke with a jolt. Quickly I sat up and found myself surrounded by the others. Quickly, I checked their chests and found relief in their rhythmic movement
"Ah, that was faster than I thought" a voice muttered, dryly behind me
"what have you done to them?" I said as I turned to the clocked male. The druid.
He stood upon a higher platform, before what appears to be a large glass circular window.
I stood up on the wooden ground, shakily, as feelings returned to my sleeping limbs.
"Them? Nothing really. Like I had said they weren't supposed to be part of this test, but they decided to jump with you. Seems like they all have the hearts of a hero. I thought why not let them take the hero's test?"
"Test? I thought we were being punished?" I said bitterly, anger starting to course through my veins once again.
His red eyes flashed in the shadow of his hood.
"Yes... punished" he mused "or tested. No difference there really"
I scoffed, looking around at the others. They are not physically injured, no, but they all held expressions of fear, sorrow, and anger. Tears slipped down their eyes lids. Even senseis.
Anger from the vision slash dream-like state of me flew through me once again.
I turned to the druid, my energy buzzing through me like a very strong pulse of energy.
"You," I said, with a bitterness, I did not know I possess.
"You let them go. Now!" I said, taking a step forward.
He made no movement.
"And why should I?" he questioned, amusement signing his tone.
"Because" I started, uncovering my sword, "I said so"
I did not wait for his response. Instead. I acted.
Techniques and strategies ran through my mind, along with the information Barnes had once prattled of about druids. They are smart creatures of old age but do not really physically age after some point in their twenties. So body should be physically fit if this one is not that old. Though movements are still slow, as they are over thinking their actions. They have some aspects of magic, but not a lot.
