"I was planning on taking Keith to therapy sessions, or do some meditation with him."
"Why?"
"Well, Keith does his thing. Defense and he needs help to calm himself down."
"Keith doesn't need it, I sure."
"Well, it wasn't all."
"What do you mean?"
"I mean... Martial Arts. You gotta admit, he does throw some pretty efficient punches and kicks. I bet he'll enjoy it. Keith is strong and smart, so this could be good for him."
"If it might help Keith, then we shall do it."
"Alright."

Keith was in bed and he was laying awake. He kept hearing his name and he had enough. He needed to find what this is about. Keith quietly climbed out of bed and walked down the stairs. He was sure to keep quiet.

"When do you plan on signing him up?"
"Tomorrow? Maybe we should wait."

Keith was quite puzzled. He stayed in place and kept listening. The adults talked until Caran sneezed. Keith jumped out in a defensive stance and was ready to fight anything. Allura, Shiro, and Caran looked at Keith.

His eyes an indigo, grey, and purple mixed galaxy, had a slight shift, and fear could be seen through the small gold flecks and the center black void.

This made Allura sadden and she looked as sympathetic as she could. Shiro wanted to say 'I told you so' but he too gave sympathetic looks. Caran seemed to be very sympathetic as well.

"Keith?"
"What are you doing? You should be in bed."

Shiro took a step towards Keith to calm him down, but Keith became more protective. Keith would usually back down a little in Shiro's presence, but he didn't do it this time.

Allura tried to help Keith when Shiro stepped back. He was heartbroken. Allura took a few steps forward. Keith only loosened his tight fists, but kept them in fists. It made Allura feel better. She reached to touch his shoulder, but he raised his hand slightly.

Allura stepped back to Shiro and let a single tear fall, but she wiped it away.

Caran looked at the puzzle, and he walked over to get it. He passed Keith and he watched. Caran turned and showed Keith the box. His eyes shifted at the slight and he shifted his position. Keith now stood looking down at the box.

Caran moved the box carefully closer to Keith. He slowly took the box and looked down at it. His eyes remained the same as the did when he saw the box. Keith slowly turned, with his head still down, and walked to the table where they did the puzzle earlier. He sat in his same seat and carefully and quietly began with the puzzle.

Allura and Shiro motioned and shifted, but Caran whispered "Watch."
Keith heard, but he only let the words settle in his mind. The way he did the puzzle was unique and quite fascinating. He soon finished the puzzle and just looked at it. He looked at the different parts of the image.

Keith closed his eyes and grazed a hand over the image. He let out a few deep breaths and opened his eyes again.the had shifted into a settled mix of colors seen in space. The mixed galaxy had slowed in his eyes and showed calmness.

Allura let another tear fall. It was a happy tear.

Keith took the puzzle apart part by part and picked up the box. He walked over to the adults and just looked at them. He looked at them for one minute and then walked through them with the box in his hand. The adults said not a single word as they watched Keith walk up the stairs, but he still had the puzzle's box.

Keith entered the room quietly and placed the box in bottom drawer of his bedside chest. He took one last look at the puzzle before closing the drawer and sleeping peacefully in his bed.

The adults checked the kids' room and let their relived tears fall.

Sorry for the somber chapter! When I wrote this, the story seemed to flow this way and I could picture in my mind what was happening. I tried to make it clear what I saw and I think I did a pretty good job.

The next chapter will be happier! So, don't worry!
