A knock on my door informed me of Marc's arrival. I couldn't hide my excitement. I was getting closer to getting my mother but that also meant I was closer to getting to arrow man. Once I'm ready, I'll get to him before he comes for me.

I opened the door and stared at Marc who was leaning against the door with his arms crossed. He reminded me so much of Rick in that position and I was filled with guilt. Marc confessed how he felt about me and I went and kissed his brother. Well he kissed me but it doesn't change things because I didn't pull away. I actually enjoyed the kiss and even though I'm not with Marc I feel like I betrayed him somehow. We were also suppose to rule together. I could see how he feels about me just by looking into those beautiful green eyes of his.

My excitement disappeared and we just stared at each other. It was like he was trying to memorize everything about me. I took him in as well. Marc was beautiful inside and out and it would be so easy to fall for him. I didn't love any of the boys but I did feel something for both of them.

I shook my head. There were more things that were important than a future love interest.

"Hey," I said. I felt shy all of a sudden by the way he was looking at me. Marc slowly smiled and I felt my heart speed up just by looking at him.

"Hey," he replied. The smile was still on his face as I stood there. When I frowned he snapped out of it and cleared his throat. "Are you ready to go?"

"Where are we going?" I asked curiously.

"It's a surprise." When I opened my mouth to speak he continued, "I know you hate surprises. Come on." He held out his hand and I placed mine in his. He led me down out of the room and our surroundings started to become familiar the longer we walked. I had to remind myself to ask him to take me on a tour of this place.

We stepped outside. I was already used to the dark of the streets and the ghost floating through the streets. They barely looked at us as we stood at the entrance of the castle and I frowned. They were attacking yesterday and all about peace today. Seeing them brought the memory of the blue ring arrow man made. I could now get hurt by the Bones, I was just as vulnerable as the rest of the Skulls.

"Why are we outside?" I asked. "I thought you were going to train me."

"I am," he said without looking at me. "Amelia after observing you over these past couple days I've made an assumption. Before I could train you, I have to teach you patience. Patience is the key to using your powers for the good of everyone."

"You don't think I use my powers for good?" I asked with a frown.

"It's more complicated than that," he explained. "I believe there is good in you. I've watched you for about twelve years and for that time, you were like a fallen angel who just needed guidance. You are so pure and innocent and I would love to keep you that way. I'm hoping to keep you that way. I don't want this corrupt society to get to you and if I didn't need you down here I would have left you alone. Amelia, you're a good person but the use of your powers have been nothing but evil. I care about you too much to watch you go down that path."

"It hurts," I said honestly. "It hurts using this power that I have and I always have nose bleeds. I think something's wrong."

Marc rested his hand against my cheek as he stared deep into my eyes. "Nothing's wrong," he reassured. "It's because you don't have full control of your powers. There's a battle going on inside of you because you're not choosing a side. I'm hoping to help you right now."

I smiled. "By teaching me patience?"

"By teaching you patience."

"So where do we start?" I asked and Marc pointed behind me. I couldn't see where he was pointing to until he positioned my head to look at the object. I frowned when I saw the old bike leaning against the gate. "A bicycle?"
