Well since I posted up the original draft of the first book, I figured I might as well share what exists of the second book.

Keep in mind I only managed to write like, 14 or 15 chapters of the second book before I realized it was a mess and completely scrapped the whole thing. I basically had no clue what I was doing and made up every chapter as I went along, since the only thing I had plotted was how it was supposed to end.

But yeah, here's the second book summary:

MAGGIE is useless. Or at least, that's how she feels. A war between the Abandoned Order and Prince Casimir has begun, and Maggie- who can't fight her way out of a paper bag- has found herself caught in the middle. Every time she tries to help she just seems to create a bigger problem, but what is she supposed to do now that leaving the Shadow Realm has become even more of an impossibility? To keep herself busy, Maggie begins exploring the ruins of Ignus, the childhood home of Kindle. As she travels deeper into the ruins, she travels deeper into Kindle's past, and it's slowly becoming obvious that there are things he'd rather keep undiscovered. Just what is Kindle hiding? And what about his past, once uncovered, could tip this war in their favor... or make their demise inevitable?

CASIMIR is unprepared. The girl he thought he loved was working for his enemies all along, his mother has been killed, his sister has disappeared, and all if this happened in a span of two hours. Now a war has begun, and all of the choices are left to him. How can he protect his kingdom when the girl he'd up until recently wanted for his queen is on the other side? And how could he attack when he was just informed they have Rainette? Being king is much more than Casimir ever could have expected, will he rise to the occasion or crack under the pressure?

ELLE is confused. Waking up in the dungeon of the Abandoned Order's castle is one thing, but finding yourself sharing a room with the princess of Lumina is something entirely different. Raini tells Elle that Lady Jacintha is the one who killed Queen Amaranth, and as more and more evidence is given, Elle finds herself struggling to comprehend what's happened to her friend even more. Has her moth in the Shadow Realm really changed Maggie into a murderer? And will Elle really be able to do the right thing... and stop her?
