Catherine, despite having been thuroughly scarred by the parasite incident, she had gathered enough allies to take Kay down. It's not that she wanted to hurt Kay- it's that she wanted to hurt Dani. You see, Catherine knew that Dani was in love with Kay, while Kay only slightly liked her. Catherine knew Kay heavily lusted after her, and in her book, lust was just about as good as love.

Catherine had gathered the jocks- being the brainless bags of muscle they were- she could easily trick them into doing her dirty work- granted she had to do some dirty things for them as well. This didn't bother Catherine, who didn't value things as most girls did. She simply saw a chessboard- and she could easily win- as long as she found herself a goal.

Her goal now was to estinguish Kay- and she knew that would crush Dani.

In part, Catherine was glad they had all been thrown into this competition. Before, things were so boring for her. The only thing she had to aquire were boys- and they weren't even a challenge. Now, she was definetely stimulated. All she had to do was put people against each other.

The meatbags working for her weren't mindless killing machines however- if they were there was a chance they would attack her. They still had some kind of moral code left over. This made them weak in Catherine's mind- but she knew she  could use it to her advantage.

The story they knew went something like this:

Catherine did nothing to anyone. She was an innocent angel. Then she met Kay and Dani. She feared they might be bad people but she decided to make an alliance with them anyhow. Then, Kay took advantage of her. There was nothing she could do. She had been saving herself  for the right man. Now, she didn't have that choice.

This poorly thought out story was enough to fully convince the jocks. They didn't connect that with the "favors" she did them- they were that stupid. They were whipped into a frenzy- and Kay was their target. This immensely satisfied Catherine. As long as she had others to take care of things for her- she was fine. Even if Kay managed to whipe them all out- she would still get more dunces with some shred of moral fibers left in their body but not a tea spoon of intelligence. Catherine knew very well how to find these people- she had them do insignificant things for her before the games. Before she had the opportunity to use all of her resources.

Kay and Dani would never see it coming- they would never even think to think ahead. They were so stupid they didn't even think she might be coming for them. She knew they didn't even notice she was gone- she had people watching them. Well, they didn't do anything. Kay didn't even try to look for her, and laughed when he found out about her extensions. The sonofabitch. He didn't even miss her- and she had never even given him more of a taste of what she was capable of.

Catherine was willing to do anything for revenge. Anything. Even if it was murder. She had never had anyone oppose her outside of the games- but if they had, she would had people take care of them just the same. Kay and Dani better watch out- ready or not- here she comes.
