Minutes passed but it seemed that all hope was lost since the sky blue glow from Ayla’s chest was increasing and the ice could be seen emerging from underneath Ayla’s gown and freezing it into a blue ice gown, her auburn hair slowly turned platinum blonde and her once amber eyes transformed into a crystal blue.

‘I will always love you Elsa, and I’m sorry for all of the trouble I have caused you the past two day… and I’m sorry that I blinded papa and almost killed him’ Ayla whispered using her last few breaths before her body completely froze over with Elsa clutching her tightly and sobbing heavily over her frozen body. ‘Why didn’t it work?’ Elsa asked Doctor Loberg who was watching sadly from a few feet away ‘I do not know your majesty’ he whispered causing Elsa to weep even more over Ayla. A single tear fell onto Ayla’s chest and instantly began to glow a deep orange, almost as if a fire was emerging from deep within her.

All too quickly that little glow of orange transformed into a blazing inferno that consumed Ayla’s frozen body causing Elsa to shriek in horror but the initial shock soon subsided when she realised that the ice was melting and Ayla’s body was thawing.

The platinum blonde hair seemed to melt away to be replaced by even brighter auburn hair, the ice dress dissolved as the flames scorched through it and as Ayla opened her eyes Elsa was met by the most amazing amber ever seen. ‘Fire destroys ice’ Ayla smirked as Elsa recited her earlier quote before the two of them hugged each other tightly. ‘So you ready to take over as Queen?’ Elsa asked when she eventually pulled away ‘yes’ Ayla said simply with a megawatt smile on her face ‘but are you sure you want to stand down?’ her smile slipped. ‘Ayla, for you I would do anything, although yes it would have been nice to have ruled over the Kingdom but you want this title more than I do’ Elsa explained.

Doctor Loberg then stepped in ‘you could always rule side by side’ he suggested to which Ayla and Elsa looked at each other and grinned ‘I think that’s the best idea I’ve heard all day’ Ayla joked causing Elsa to laugh. ‘So there you have it citizens of Erendelle, you will soon be crowning your second Queen’ Ayla announced to the kingdom before they erupted into applause and cheers.

The twins both smiled then made their way back into the castle ‘so does this mean I’m un-banished?’ Ayla mentioned with her signature smirk on her face, ‘well I should hope so. I don’t think you could rule over Erendelle from Volcano Mountain’ Elsa smirked back ‘aww, I’m really going to miss my little fire palace’ ‘I’m sure you’ll end up redecorating this palace with your powers’ Elsa noted as they continued to walk down the corridor towards the throne room. ‘I think I’m gonna enjoy being Queen’ Ayla whispered as she took a seat on the left hand side throne.

Elsa took a seat beside her and mentioned ‘we will make a great team, I’m the serious one who knows how to do the job properly. You’re the fun one who knows how the citizens tick and what they want’ ‘I just wish mama and papa were here to see this’ Ayla glanced at her hands that were resting in her lap. ‘So do I, but I’m sure they’re up there watching us’ Elsa motioned towards the ceiling.
