Chapter 1

'controlling our poor old school'

Annie

I got out of bed, being greeted by the streaming light through my window, from the early morning sun, reminding me it was time to go back to school.

I scrambled from the radiating heat of my bed and hurried to pull out an outfit from my wardrobe. I settled on a white blouse tucked into a pink and white shirt, I wore this outfit with my white Nike air trainers

I was so excited to go back to school.

I brushed my hair through, pulling it into a high pony, leaving strands falling down around my face.

The sound of knocking sounded from down stairs.

I opened the door and there stood right before my eyes was my bestfriend, his hair was a mess, like he had just climbed out of bed.
I hugged him tightly.
"Morning" I greeted him, a smile plastered on my face.
"Hey" he replied, his smile equally matching mine.
We pulled out of the hug and he gave me a piggy back ride to the bus stop.

Upon our arrival, Carson was sat in the bus shelter and Jojo was sat on his lap, she was dressed in a leopard print tight top, with denim ripped jeans, she had a giant black bow in her hair and some leopard print kicks hugged at her feet.
It was a peculiar put together but she rocked it.

Jayden and Connor where somewhat gossiping before the school year had even started.
"Where's Johnny and Kenz?" I asked.
"Probably in a corner somewhere, eating each other's faces" Carson stated, I was shocked by his immediate answer but he wasn't wrong either, I wouldn't be surprised if they where.

"Are they a thing now?" I questioned.
"No, but what two young attractive teens spend all summer together and don't climb into each others sheets?" Jayden replied.

We piled onto the bus as it pulled up, I sat down next to Jayden, JoJo sat facing us.
Carson perched himself next to JoJo and snaked his arms over her shoulders .

my phone vibrated in my pocket.
it was Kenzie stating 'Sorry this is late notice, Johnny and I are walking to school, no hard feelings? luv ya'

I swiftly replied with 'don't worry about is we all suspected you two where together'

my phone bleeped again, Kenzie had text 'its not like that'

I rolled my eyes and placed my phone back into my back pocket.

The school bus came to a holt and our group strutted off, knowing all eyes where on us, we met up with Johnny and Kenz, we greeted them and then got ready to get back into the daily routine of us controlling our poor old school.

We marched down the halls, everyone was staring at us, we all look so perfect to them, only if they new the drama behind our pretty faces and perfect hair.

"Mack, where's your next class?" I asked.

"Cem-Lab! U?" She replied.

"Same" I answered.

I engulfed Hayden in a surprising hug, before walking off with Kenz.
