'Not the whole bloody town'

Connor and I had set off back from Johnny's, he was on his way to Carson's a little further on from my house, him and the lads where gonna surprise him and cheer him up.
Connor arm was draped around my waist pulling me closer, his body automatically wrapping me in an embrace of radiating heat.
"Can't you just come stay at mine" I whined.
He chuckled, that might had just been the fourth time I had asked him.
"Like the last several times, my answer is no, I really have to do this for Carson" he said.
He was the only boy I'd ever known that expressed there feelings to everyone, and didn't hide them away.
I turned down my street pecking Connor on the cheek as he continued down BroadCalves Way, to Carson's.
I text Annie.
Hey Ann's, party at mine tell the others.
I was rather excited to host a night with the girls.
As I arrived at mine, music was booming, the smell of sweat lingered in the air, Annie came dancing up to me swirling a red solo cup in her hand.
"When I said invite the others, I meant Kenzie and Jojo, not the whole bloody town" I yelled.
"Take a chill pill Jayden, have some fun" Annie slurred her words as she ran back into the crowd of teens dancing in my living room.
