Jayden seemed upset after yesterday, Did I upset her that much?

I dropped her a quick message.

wanna skip school, Café de la chino, asap.

I didn't wait for a reply and hopped in the shower.

I threw on yesterdays hoodie and some jeans, I had ran out of hair wax but didn't mind as my hair didn't look to shocking down.

I walked up to café de la chino to see Jayden there sat waiting in a window seat.

"not got the drinks?" I questioned.

"I think you owe me a coffee after yesterday" she smiled, I rolled my eyes and ordered, I sat down opposite her,

"was it really me that upset you or are you just scared of salad?" I asked almost intrigued.

"I'm really scared of salad, I have nightmares about it" she answered sarcastically, this made me chuckle.

"what was really up?"

she looked down as our coffee's arrived.

"you can tell me" I coaxed.

I reached my hands across the table to hers, I held them, feeling the radiating heat coming from her body to fight of the cold California day.

"I slept with Carson" she mumbled.

"you did what" I said in shock.

"I slept with Carson" she repeated just louder.

"I know, I heard you the first time, I just couldn't believe it" I admitted

"And I like him, well at least I think that's what's causing the pang of jealousy whenever JoJo is attached to his arm" she explained.

I watched as guilt flooded her eyes, she almost looked ashamed for not caring about JoJo.

I buried my head In my hands trying to think about what to do to help in this situation,
