Jeongguk gently places Taehyung back onto the ground and fixes his kimono, "I can't leave you anymore," he states.

Taehyung widens his eyes as the heat spread throughout his face, "w-wh-"

"You're going to break another of my expensive vase if I leave you alone again."

Taehyung's cheeks grew as red as a tomato and he lightly punches Jeongguk's hard chest. He suddenly remembers the time when he broke a vase that cost more than his whole life but Jeongguk just brushed it off like nothing, "I hate you..." he mumbles, staring down at the green floor.

Jeongguk chuckles and quickly spins Taehyung around, pushing him forward, "No you don't. Come on, go get your mask."

Taehyung attempts to turn back but Jeongguk securely holds his head in place, "baby, we're going to be late if you don't get your mask."

"Fine! But let go of my head, you're hurting me." Jeongguk immediately lets go of Taehyung and pushes him forward, causing him to stumble on his long kimono. However, a strong pair of arm kept him from facepalming the floor.

"Hurry up, baby."

" I am hurrying!" Taehyung wiggles out of Jeongguk's embrace and stumbles out of the room. He slides the doors close, leaving Jeongguk alone in the room.

After Taehyung's gone, Jeongguk slowly brings his thumb up to his left cheek and wipes off the blood dripping down his newly created wound. He stares at the blood which was now slowly turning black, "fucking poison," he mumbles as the expression on his face darkens, "You must be kidding me."

Jeongguk tilts his head to the open doors that directs him to his huge garden. Two dark and scary pupils replaces the pair of eyes that once held care and love for Taehyung, "If I ever find you, you're as good as a dead rat," Jeongguk scowls and squeeze his wound, causing more blood to ooze out. But also helping him remove the poison.

Jeongguk quickly wipes off the excess blood with a white cloth and stuff it back into his pocket. He ignores the presence of someone lurking in his garden and goes to find Taehyung, after all, a sneak attack?

Pfft. He fucking hates rats like that and they don't even worth a single second of his time. Especially if the dart was aimed at Taehyung.

Jeongguk patiently waits for Taehyung to finish dressing while glancing at the gold watch on his wrist.

"I'm done," a booming voice chirps, causing Jeongguk to look at the direction of the voice.

Taehyung is all dressed up in formal clothing, no longer wearing the long kimono that occasionally slides off his shoulder. Not to mention, his tattoos are all covered up by the white button up and honestly, Jeongguk didn't like that.

Taehyung gasp and hurriedly cups Jeongguk's cheeks, massaging the freshly cut wound with his thumb, "what happened!?"

Jeongguk reaches up and places his hand over Taehyung's. He closes his eyes and leans into Taehyung's warm touch, "I cut myself with my rings again."

"Again?"

"Yes, again," Jeongguk reopens his eyes and slightly smirks, "if you kiss it, maybe it will heal faster."

Without hesitation, Taehyung inches closer and closer to the wound, but was unfortunately stopped by Jeongguk. The dominant male grabs Taehyung by the chin and tilts it so their eyes can meet, "I didn't necessarily say where though."

Jeongguk quickly pecks Taehyung lips and lifts him off the ground, producing a high pitched shriek from Taehyung, "come on, baby. We're really late for the meeting."

"Jeongguk, the mask!"

Jeongguk scoops the mask with his feet and kicks it up, catching it with his fingers, "we gotta hurry," he said and starts marching out of his mansion with Taehyung in his arms.

"He's so scary," the frightened male croaks. He drops his weapon to the floor and hugs his knees together, "his eyes were soulless."

The needles spill out from the weapon onto the green grass and the poison from the needle slightly distorts the green color.

And also the last scene wasn't in the story plot, it's just an extra scene of the guy who tried to poison tae.

If people are confused by this chapter. It's basically, since Taehyung's photo had been passed around in the blackmarket. People will take that as an advantage. They will try to get their hand on Taehyung no matter what they use. Someone was targeting Taehyung and Jeongguk noticed this so he quickly told Taehyung to get his mask. The needle/dart hit Jeongguk instead of Taehyung and Jeongguk didn't want to let Taehyung know so he just said he cut himself with his own rings.
