It's so fucking beautiful. The red outlines and the newly made tattoo. Most importantly, Taehyung looks so beautiful, just as always.
Yes, Jeongguk did succeed the throne from his father at a young age. Yes, Jeongguk is one of the most powerful mafias in the underground world. But Jeongguk is just one human. How can he possibly defend himself from an angel? Taehyung is the literal meaning of an angel and also the closest thing he can get to heaven— since he's definitely going to hell.
Jeongguk could stare at Taehyung all day, just like he always do when the latter is getting tattooed with his eyes shut right from pain. But of course, Jeongguk would never tell Taehyung that.
"Hurts?" Jeongguk asks as he lightly brushes his fingertip on the plastic wrap on the tattoo. Taehyung winces in pain and nods his head in response, "Baby, words."
"Ggukie, it hurts," Taehyung replies, face still morphed in pain but it was all worth it. The tattoo looks absolutely perfect, just like the rest of his tattoos. If not, Kai would've been dead already. "I wanna go home," he sighs, it's been a pretty long day for him. They would've been home if Jeongguk didn't decide 'oh a new tattoo would be great!'
"It's okay baby, we'll go home once we get the ointment," Jeongguk said as he gives feathery kiss all over Taehyung face. He pulls away and examines the tattoo, "you look beautiful."
"Thank you," Taehyung smiles, and yes, Jeongguk heart squeezed a little, "Will you still think I'm beautiful if I didn't have these tattoo?" He asks, his smile ceases just a little as he avoids Jeongguk's piercing eyes, "Will you still love me even if I don't have these?"
"Taehyung," Jeongguk lift Taehyung's chin up by his pointer finger and presses a soft kiss on the corner of his mouth, "I'll always think you're beautiful, no matter what."
Flashback
Honestly, to say Jeongguk was pissed was an understatement. That fucktard canceled the meeting just right before the actual meeting start and Jeongguk travel from Japan all the way to Korea for no fucking reason.
"Hoseok."
"Yes, boss?"
"call that motherfucker right now and if he doesn't reply, kill him."
"Boss, you can't just ki-" Hoseok cut himself short once Jeongguk glares at him and takes out his phone, dialing who they were supposed to meet. Jeongguk taps his fingers against the armrest as they wait for the call to get through. But in the end, it never went through.
"Hoseok, guess what?"Jeongguk asks, smiling a wicked, distorted smile.
"We kill him."
Jeongguk didn't reply, but his smile gradually vanishes. Hoseok steps on the pedal as the car immediately takes off. Hoseok knows the address, of course he does. If you work in a business like this, you need to have something against your enemies and your friends.
But as the car speed past something or more specifically a person, Jeongguk quickly taps on Hoseok's arms, indicating him to stop.
Jesus, even if Jeongguk doesn't believe in god. Still. Jesus.
He rolls down his window to take a better look at that person and Jesus. He looks exactly like an angel, with the sun shining on his brunette hair, creating a halo effect. He's smiling, a box-shaped smile that seems to melt Jeongguk's, cold heart. And it wasn't surprising that Jeongguk wasn't the only one that was staring at him.
A surge of possessiveness overflown Jeongguk's mind, "I want him," he said as he opens the car door, ignoring the beeping sounds from the cars behind it. They are blocking the road but does Jeongguk care? No.
The angel, no. The boy was staring right at him with his beautiful eyes and it really did leave Jeongguk awestruck. He marches towards the boy who seems to get even more beautiful every step he took.
"You're really beautiful," he simply said and it was all it took for a pink blush to appear on the boy's cheek.
"Thank you," he replies, staring down at the floor instead of Jeongguk's eyes.
"Of course."
At that time the boy didn't know that the man with dark eyes, raven hair and built body will kidnap him from his friends and family. He also did not know that he would hopelessly fall in love with the man.
End.
"Ew gross, disgusting," Kai said as he pops his head out of the medical room where they store all the ointment and pretends to vomit, "please leave this place as soon as possible, I don't need two lovesick people in my shop." He throws a bag of ointment to Jeongguk and one to Bogum, "I'm sure you know how to apply these medicines by now, right?"
"Of course."
Jeongguk takes off his long coat and covers Taehyung's body with it, not forgetting the mask. He snakes his arms under Taehyung's knees and back, lifting him up, "We're going home, baby," he whispers as nudge the mask with his nose. Taehyung only hummed in reply.
"See you soon, "Kai waves at Jeongguk's back but received no response, not like he expected one since Jeongguk never says farewells.
"Thier relationship might look sweet but it's toxic," Kai suddenly said once they left the shop. He turns to face Bogum, "Jeongguk won't be able to live without Taehyung anymore, he is what's keeping Jeongguk sane and Taehyung is sacred for life. These tattoos aren't going to disappear all of a sudden."
A moment of silence before Kai breaks it again with a sad smile.
"Here," he takes the ointment from Bogum, "I'll teach you how to take care of your tattoo."
