By the time Jimin woke up, Yoongi was already gone, leaving a little note on the table.
You don't have to come to work today. But make sure Taehyung is safe. Keep your eyes on him the whole time.

Jimin chuckles at the short and simple note, it was so old fashion of his boss. Rather than just texting him, he actually left a note for him. The door from the other guest room opens and Jimin switches his focus from the little text to the sound of the door opening. He was left astonished once again.
Taehyung walks out of the room, looking effortlessly beautiful and elegant. The sunlight that shines through the window nuzzles itself on Taehyung, making his features shine even more. His tan skin seems to reflect the sunlight itself, causing his tattoo to turn into a dark red tone and Jimin couldn't help but think, 'Is it really possible for a human to look like this?'
"Good morning, Jimin," Taehyung greets with his deep voice, snapping Jimin out of his trance. The pink-haired male smiles and greets Taehyung back with the same cheerfulness he had yesterday despite being so early in the morning.
"Where's Yoongi?" Taehyung asks and looks around the condo for his childhood friend but he's nowhere to be seen.
"He's off to work," Jimin replies as he searches through the fridge for breakfast but unfortunately, there wasn't anything in the fridge aside from a few cans of beers, "uhh, bad news, Tae. We might have to go out to buy some grocery." Jimin closes the fridge and switches his gaze back to Taehyung, who had his eyebrows raised and lips parted, "O-oh! You can't go out, right? We can call delivery if you want."
"Tae?"
Jimin widens his eyes and scrambles to say, "Um! I'm sorry if you didn't like me calling you, Tae. I just have a habit of giving people nicknames. I just met you yesterday, of course, you're uncomfortable with me calling you on a nickname basis. I'm stupid, please ignore me."
Taehyung's face relaxes as he lets out deep chuckles, "No, it's fine, Chim," he tilts his head slightly to the side and smiles, "I can call you that, right?"
"O-of course!"
"Alright, I'll go wash up and we'll go out shopping," he said as he goes back into his room.
--
When Taehyung comes out of the room once again, he was all dressed up and clean up. However, this time, Taehyung wasn't wearing the kimonos that he's always been wearing. He was wearing normal clothes that normal people would wear every day ( even though most people wouldn't be able to afford the clothes Taehyung was wearing.)
He was wearing a black turtleneck that hides all the tattoos painted on his body and skinny ripped jeans that displays his toned legs.
"Jimin, I'm ready."
At this, Jimin looks up from his phone and smiles once he sees Taehyung all dress up, "You look nice, Tae."
Taehyung lightly chuckles, blushing a little and ruffling his soft brunette hair, "thank you, Chim. I haven't worn these kinds of clothes for so long."
The pink-haired tilts his head to the side and raises his brows in confusion, "You haven't worn these clothes for so long?"
"Ah..." he smiles every so oddly, "yeah. I miss everything."
Jimin seems to notice the sudden change in mood and quickly switches the topic, "h-hey! Let's go shopping for clothes as well then! We can have our own little fashion show!" He grabs Taehyung's wrist and drags the both of them to the doorstep. Jimin quickly wears his own shoes and grabs a somewhat decent looking sandals and throws it on the floor, urging Taehyung to wear it, "don't worry about the money. Yoonboss pays me a lot!"
"Yoonboss-" Taehyung spurts as he covers his mouth from spitting any saliva out, "what a cute name."
"Yep! Now let's go!"
"W-wait, let me grab a hat to cover my face!"
"It's okay, you should show off your face! It's really really really pretty. You shouldn't feel ashamed of your face."
"That's not-"
Jimin shushes Taehyung by putting his tiny finger on Taehyung lips, "it's fine, I'll protect you if anyone dares to hit on you!
Taehyung sighs but nevertheless he smiles, he's happy that he's being treated normally, he's happy that he finally found a new friend, but it barely suppresses his desperation for Jeongguk. Just the thought of being away from Jeongguk makes him trembles in fear. He realized long ago, this was a toxic relationship. But does he want to let go of Jeongguk?
Never.

*wipes sweat* 18 minutes before the weekend end, I know this is a really boring and short chapter but I've been really busy these days (an excuse btw) I got a job near the end of the summer so I was getting used to it, and now I have school and work at the same time so it's taking a toll on me. I get home at 10 pm and I have to do homework right away which ends up with me sleeping at 1-2 am but I'll try my best to update as often as I can! Thank you guys so much for sticking with me until the end even though I'm not updating as often as before. ;'))
