Taehyung wakes up once again, feeling all alone in the darkness. The food that Hoseok had left him, he hasn't touched it at all. He was in no condition to eat after all that crying and screaming and his throat was feeling all dried up. He needs to use the bathroom but the chain that connected his ankle to the bed wasn't allowing him. 

The brunette takes off the cover and softly sets his feet on the ground, he walks around, checking how far the chains are allowing him to move and it was pretty far. When he heard small little whisper which sounded like Hoseok's, his ears twitches at Jeongguk's name being mention.

Taehyung tiptoes towards the door and presses his ears against the wooden frame.

"Yes, Taehyung is safe and unharmed."

"That chip that is implanted in my brain? Yeah, you've told me about it."

"He's coming to chase me tomorrow?"

"Okay, everything is set up already."

"Alright. Goodbye, Namjoon."

Namjoon? Taehyung thought. What does he have to do with this and Hoseok? But his thoughts are quickly interrupted when he hears the footsteps inching closer to his room, he rushes back to the bed and sits back down on it, looking as innocent as he can look. 

The door opens just a second after Taehyung got his facials settle, he looks up at Hoseok's handsome features and cocks his head to the side as if he's questioning why the latter is here. 

"Hey, pretty," Hoseok weakly smiles, "awake again?"

Taehyung didn't reply and only stares at Hoseok with his wide-open eyes, anticipating the next few words that Hoseok is going to say to him. 

Hoseok looks at the tray of food that wasn't even touched, "You should eat and stay healthy for Jeongguk."

"Hey, Taehyung," Hoseok calls out and runs his finger through Taehyung's soft hair, "Remember the promise?" He waited for a response, but all he got was silence so he continued, "That was to never hurt Jeongguk?"

Taehyung nods his head, he remembered Hoseok telling him to never hurt Jeongguk but why is he hurting Jeongguk right now?

"Promise me again," he sadly smiles and holds out his pinkie, "Never hurt him in any way, please."

"W-why?" Taehyung asks, voice hoarse from sleep and screaming, "I promised you, but you were the one who broke the promise and now you want me to promise you again?"

"Taehyung, please."

Despite his remark, Taehyung still chained his pinkie finger with Hoseok.

"Thank you," Hoseok said, still smiling at Taehyung but his eyes held so much sorrow, "you're really important to Jeongguk and to me too."

"But every story, there always needs to have an antagonist and a protagonist."

Jeongguk takes out his gun as he checks to see if it's loaded, he's already on his way to Hoseok with his subordinates following behind him like little puppies. Namjoon was sitting next to him, with a computer on his lap as they drive to the red dot. 

"Jeon, we're close. Probably will be there in around five minutes," Namjoon said and Jeongguk nods in acknowledgment. 

He couldn't wait to get his hand on Hoseok and squeeze his delicate neck until he's begging Jeongguk to forgive him, but when does Jeon Jeongguk give second chances? (excluding Taehyung.) 

Funny how one moment someone could be your ally but then the next, they became your enemies. Not only that, something that Jeongguk would never admit was that he actually viewed Hoseok as his brother, blood-related or not, he believed in Hoseok. How dare he, Jeongguk snarls inwardly, how dare he just threw away his trust just like that. 

The car halt a stop and Jeongguk couldn't even wait to get out of the car. The rest of his subordinates arrives not even a minute later and goes to guard Jeongguk. He looks around the area, seeing there wasn't any guard or anything which seems a little strange. Then he looks at the huge mansion and grits his teeth. With one flick of his finger, people were already charging in and removing the huge lock that locked the gate. 

A vibrate comes from Jeongguk's phone as he takes it out.

H: Nice to see you again, boss

And all Jeongguk see was red before he charges into the mansion. Another vibrate but this time, Jeongguk wasn't even going to look at it.

It wasn't long until Jeongguk actually reaches the main room which is dead in the center of the mansion. It was surprising that even inside, there wasn't any guard protecting the place. 

Jeongguk kicks the door wide open and looks around the room. The first thing he saw was his beautiful lover, looking like the angel that was sent to him from God and he was so close to reaching out to him until he sees Hoseok blocking his view. 

"Hoseok," he snarls. 

"Hey, boss," the said male greets, his eyes filled with grief and despair.
