Something felt wrong and Taehyung could feel it miles away. No, he wasn't worried for Jeongguk because the amount of trust Taehyung had in Jeongguk overcomes his fear for Jeongguk. But something felt wrong and he just knows it.

"Jung Hoseok," he heard Jeongguk snarls and despite the venom hidden behind it, he relaxes upon hearing Jeongguk's voice, 

"Hey boss," Hoseok replies back and Taehyung couldn't help but choked out a sob. Please don't. This isn't right.

"You've betrayed me."

"Yes, boss."

"No, don't call me boss anymore. You don't deserve to call me boss anymore," Jeongguk said, a look a hurt flashes on his face but disappears right after, "I trusted you, you know?"

"Yes, boss."

"I said don't call me that, Hoseok."

"No do, boss," a tear flows down Hoseok's cheeks, "please, Jeongguk. Let me serve you one last time." 

Jeongguk was confused, "Hoseok...why? Just why?" 

Hoseok walks towards Jeongguk and stopped right in front of him, he kneels down and grabs Jeongguk's hand. He kisses each and every knuckle and Jeongguk did nothing to prevent that. 

"Boss, you killed my sister. But I could never resent you for that, you took us in when we had no place to go, you gave us shelter and food even though we didn't deserve them. On the day when your parents died, we swore. We swore to each other to give our lives to you and protect you forever," Hoseok sobs out as more tears flow out of his eyes without permission, " I really want to be with you until we both grow old, Jeongguk. But I can't."

Taehyung's heart was hurting. 

Hoseok stands up and quickly wipes his tears away, " Boss, be careful of who's closest to you," he smiled, all sunshine and glory, "But I can guarantee you it's not Taehyung nor Namjoon."

"I'm sorry this is how we are going to end it, but..." his smile suddenly disappear and a look of danger replaces it, just like how the mafia boss' right-hand man should look,  "be careful of who's closest to you. The system wouldn't allow me to say his name, if I could I would've ratted him out already."

Hoseok sadly smiles, he brings his hand up to Jeongguk's head and slowly stroke his hair, "Don't miss me much, boss." He turns back to Taehyung and smiled his brightest smile but the tears wouldn't stop flowing down his eyes, "you too Taehyung and please...take care of him for me. My dearest Taehyung who I've grown close to in such a short amount of time, please close your eyes."

Taehyung doesn't know what's happening but he closed his eyes anyway, he had a feeling that he should listen to Hoseok this time.

And it happened way too quickly for Jeongguk. Way too quickly. Hoseok was turning back to face Jeongguk but before he could, a sound beeped and blood spatters across Jeongguk's face. The lukewarm blood slides down Jeongguk's skin as the male stood frozen, eyes as wide as possible and among those, he felt a tear sliding down his own cheeks. 

"Don't open your eyes, baby," Jeongguk softly said, he was trembling as he spoke those words, "let me think alone in silence for now."

It hurts. It hurts more than Hoseok betraying him. It hurts so much. Why?

"Jeongguk!" 

Namjoon's voice broke him out of his daze as he turns towards the sound, "Namjoon," he calls out, voice broken and unused. Namjoon widens his eyes at the scene and quickly rushes to Jeongguk. He grabs a cloth from his pocket and quickly wipes the blood off of Jeongguk's face, "I'll explain later. You need to go home and take a rest right now and Taehyung, do not open your eyes until I tell you to."

"O-okay."

Namjoon gags at the scene and jumps over the mess to get Taehyung, he fumbles with the chain and quickly unlocks it. He slides his hand on the back of Taehyung's knees and carried him princess style before stepping over the mess on the floor, "we need to leave as soon as possible. They will soon realize that one of their servers crashed."

Jeongguk was still in a daze. He has no idea what just happened, all he knows is that he lost one of his most important person in life and it hurts so so badly. 

"Jeongguk! We really need to leave!"

Jeongguk felt anger piling up inside of him, he grits his teeth and takes a deep breath, "Namjoon, you better owe me an explanation." He looks at the pile of mess on the floor one last time then followed Namjoon back to their cars.
