BETTY POV: I think it's time I go meet this Faith person. I just want to get to know the opener for my son. I went to her bus and knocked. Soon a blonde woman appeared "hey can I help you?" "Are you Fatih?" "yes and you are..?" "Oh I'm sorry. I'm Betty, Tim's mom" "oh" "Can I come in?" "yeah sure" I walked in and we sat down on the couch. "Betty this is my best friend Gaye. Gaye this is Betty. Tim's mom" "oh hi Nice to meet you" "you too" "Faith can I talk to you for minute?" "sure" "I'll just go walk around" Her friend said and left. "So what's this about?" "I just wanted to get to you know" "Why?" "well one you are the opening act for this tour for my son" "yeah" she said quietly. "Faith I know you like Tim" "No that's not true. I mean I like him as a friend but.." "stop! I can see it in your face as well as his. But he's too stubborn" "No disrespect but I don't know what this is about. I just got off a bad relationship. I was married for a couple of years. My ex husband now was very abusive.." "so that's why you are afraid of dating again" "i'm not afraid. I'm just not wanting that right now. I'm trying to just focus on my career and this tour. And that's it right now" "Look I was just like you" "how?" "Well after I got pregnant with.Tim, I was 18 when my mom and I moved to Louisiana. I raised him by myself. Before Tim turned one, I met this guy. He was very charming. We ended up dating and getting married. I have two daughters with that man. Anyways, He was very abusive to me and to Tim. Since Tim wasn't his biological child, he would abuse him" "oh wow I had no idea" "so you see, we are alike. Both came from abusive relationships" "Wait how did you know?" "I did some research" "oh" "look you seem like a very strong, sweet person. I just wish you would take a chance again. I promise you, my son will never hurt you" i said and then got up and left. I just hope Tim doesn't find out about my little talk with Faith.
