Chapter 42

TIM POV: It's been a couple of weeks now since all that happened. I'm feeling so much better no more headaches. Faith is doing good also. She has been having some nightmares but have gotten less. Well at least that's what she told me anyways.. I can still see all this has been hard on her. We hadn't really had our second date yet. We've seen each other everyday. She's basically been helping to take care of me. I decided tonight for our so called official second date to make dinner for her. I got everything I needed and started to make my homemade chicken and dumplings. Once done, I cleaned everything up and went to my room to shower and change. Once done, I looked at the time. I told Faith I would pick her up at 5:30pm. I got my keys and left to get her. I'm going to bring her back here for dinner. She has no idea. I get to her house and walk up to the door and knock. "Hi" "Hi, you ready?" "yes!" I open the door to my car for her to get in. Then we were on our way back to my house ."so where are we going tonight?" "you'll see. It's something a little different" I pull into my driveway. "Why are we at your house? Did you forget something?" "No but you'll see, come on" We get out and head inside. I lead her to the table. "Have a seat" i said. She did what I said. I then brought over a couple of plates with the food on them. I gave one to Faith and got the other for me. I handed her a spook and a fork "I hope this is okay?" "yeah it's fine. Did you cook this?" "yes I did" "oh wow! It's perfect" I smiled Then I sat down. "I wasn't sure if you ate them with a spook or a fork, so I gave you both" She took a bite. "Oh my gosh Tim, these are amazing" she said amazed I laughed "Thanks!" after we finished dinner, I cleaned everything up. "So want to go out and do something or watch a movie? Anything you want to do" "I think watching a movie sounds perfect" I smiled "then after we can have dessert" "okay"
