BREAK FIRST

Chapter 33

TIM POV: I had some time and i was all ready to go, so I decided to go to the side of the stage and watch Faith. It's the last night of the tour, so I figured why not. I got there and saw her friend standing watching "Hi" I said. She turned around "Oh Hi Tim" "you're Gaye right?" "yeah that's my name" she said then laughed. Then I realized. "Oh.. sorry" "it's fine. I knew what you meant"  I looked over and saw Faith turning her head this way.  Gaye and I continued to talk. Then Faith's set was over. She walked over towards us "hey so what's going on?" "nothing just talking" "oh okay"  "Well I need to get out there. See you soon" I said and got my mic all hooked up and ready to go. I can't believe this is the last show of the tour. I'm happy yet sad at the same time. I love performing for the fans. There's nothing like going out there on the stage to thousands of fans and performing. I love it! But i'm also ready for a little time off before I go back in the studio to start my next album.. I wrote that song earlier which took me about an hour. I couldn't believe it and if I do say so myself, it's amazing!  I thought of singing it tonight just me and my guitar but I thought it wasn't the right time just yet. Before i knew it, it was time for the duet part. I got off stage to get a water when I noticed my mom and sisters. I had no idea they were going to be here! I smiled and got ready for the duet.  I started and then Faith joined I couldn't stop smiling the whole time. Faith did also. Once the song was over, I wanted so badly to kiss her but didn't. I knew she would kill me if I did that. So I hugged her and she got off stage. Once my set was over, I thanked the crowed and said goodnight and headed off stage. "Mom, Tracey, Sandy, I didn't know y'all were coming" I said and hugged them. "We wanted to surprise you" I smiled "We need to talk" My sister Tracey said.
