Chapter Thirty - One
Rematch

"What?" France asked as he turned towards America. Allen narrowed his eyes at America, "What's that supposed to mean?"

"It means exactly what it sounds like." America responded as he glared at Allen who stood in confusion.

Should I be happy about this? If they were to fight, I would practically be useless... Then again.

"We have met you all yesterday, and we fought to the death, however, we came to the future, in other words, we teleported to today and now you all don't remember us. I can admit that I do not know how that is so, but that will not change the fact that my friend here, wants a rematch." England explained smoothly.

Allen smiled, "If a fights what you want, bring it, goldilocks!" He then swung his nailed bat at America as he charged foreword.

But you see, that was the flaw in both battles, both sides seemed to underestimate the other. This was our advantage.

--- Japan's POV ---

America charged at Allen to fight. Oliver and Mathew held tier ground and they began to fight against England, Russia, France, and Canada. China however, decided to follow Italy, Germany, and I around the house to see if anything could be found useful, even a little.

As far as we were able to search, there was nothing of interest in the house. So, we decided to split up. Italy and Germany went together to the other half of the house, China came with me.

"We haven't gone in that room." China spoke. He pointed at a white door, that must be the bathroom. "Let's check." I said. We entered the bathroom to find it a mess. The mirror was shattered and there was glass surrounding the sink. The sink had bloodstains and there was a lot of water damage in the room. There was also a word written on the mirror, 'Portals'. It was written where the glass wasn't cracked, so it was written recently. I examined it further to see it was written recently and with blood.

As I stared into the mirror just expecting my reflection, it wasn't there. I didn't have to try hard to not be surprised by this, after all we were somewhere new. But there was something strange about it. The other side of the mirror looked exactly like Canada's bathroom or a Canadian bathroom at least. There was a maple shower carpet in front of the bathtub and a picture of the Canadian flag over the toilet.

"China!" I exclaimed at last. He turned towards me a little frightened at my sudden outburst, "I have an idea, but I am not sure if it will actually work the way I have it planned, but this mirror, look at it. Your reflection isn't there." I said. China walked in front of the mirror, "Yeah Japan! It's really not there! Are we dead and now ghosts?!" He asked a but worried.

I sighed and shook my head, "No, I don't think that's right. What I meant by this is, maybe it is a sign that the mirrors are portals we can go through. Maybe if we find a mirror that works, we can go through it and back home." I got so excited, until I realised that I really wasn't sure if there were any mirrors that weren't cracked.

I gulped as I realised the fact that just there, I could have made a horrible pun about mirrors not being as cracked up as they used to be. I face palmed idiotically, then turned back to China, "Let's tell the others."
