it's close to me finishing this story as i already planned how this is going to end. i hope you'd be satisfied and please do support hyungseob x euiwoong's debut <3

and as the blue sky greets the both of us again, i felt a sudden nourishment of relief washing through my veins. woojin and i didn't exactly come up with a conclusion to what's best for the both of us, but it didn't matter. perhaps what we needed wasn't a solution, but it was redemption.

woojin still has an uncertain look on his face. he lingers at the back of the pillar, unpremeditatedly finding himself in a situation where he had to literally check his surroundings before going out without the presence of tall, thick-bodied men that won't go far than 10 inches away from him.

it's truly not a bad thing that i can't relate.

"since you're still in an unstable state after the agile panic attack, i most likely have to take you to someone who holds you responsible rather than leaving you alone." i asseverate with a tone that subliminally means 'you're not going anywhere without me'.

he sneers. "since when did you became my babysitter?"

"after seeing what those creatures are capable of, i will try to prioritize your safety and well-being ahead from mine." i turn to him meticulously, keeping my lips parted from the possibility of smiling. "the member of perhaps the most anticipated rookie this year that hasn't even debuted yet! your existence might as well be more valuable than mine."

that meant to come out sincere, but the true meaning distorted once it slipped out of my mouth, making me to appear quite cynical. fortunately, woojin has the enough heart and an extensional way of thought to let it slide. "that's utterly false. you are also important."

i can't believe that his last sentence had the capability to make me swerve, but i solemnly kept my annexation. "is there anyone in your contact list that you could possibly ask for instructions or something?"

he shrugs. "i don't have a phone."

it took me a moment to register what he just said. "you mean that you do not have your phone with you?"

"nope, i really meant that i don't have a phone. they took it away from us once we signed the contract." the look on his face was so believable, i didn't had to question him again.

"seems like you just signed a contract with the devil."

"well, i can't say you're wrong."

"so you don't have your manager's phone number or something?" i ask as i wrote down the digits of my phone's passcode.

"as far as i'm concerned, no." he was unexpectedly serene, answering my questions in short replies. "besides, he wouldn't be the one i'd call first if i did had his phone number. he'd kill me once he lay his eyes on me."

"but it's practically their fault for not keeping the place secured."

"yeah, and do you think they'd care of our explanations?" woojin fulminates in a soft mutter. "i don't want to see them anytime sooner. just bring me somewhere, anywhere other than that."

there was no other place that i could self-handedly think of other than what's on my mind right now. i open my contact list just to dial one of the people i hadn't talk to for weeks now. "youngmin-hyung ~ oh, you're training at bnm at the moment? please do await for our presence!"
