To The Brighter Side of Life

"Police! Put your hands up!" The police women instructed, making Hailey and Jay put their hands up.
"Not you miss, you're fine!" She said and Hailey nodded. She put her hands down, and Jay rolled his eyes.
"What the hell did-" Jay was interrupted by the cop.
"On your knees, and hands behind your head! Anything you say will be used against you at court" the police said and Hailey looked around.
"O-officer uh, how'd you know to c-c-come here?" Hailey asked, as her body started to shake.
"Your husband" the women said with a soft smile, and Hailey looked to her right and she saw Michael.
"Michael!" Hailey squealed and hugged him tightly. Michael hugged her back, and placed a kiss on the top of her head.
"What am I being charged for?!?" Jay asked angrily, and the cop pulled him up.
"One for abusing this man, and two for trespassing" the cop told him as she hand cuffed him. The officer then put Jay in the back of the police car.
Hailey looked at Michael, confused. How did he know?
"Michael... how?" Hailey asked, and he rubbed her side.
"I'll explain later" he said, as another cop walked over to the married couple.
"Can I get your statements from the previous day, and today?" He asked and the two nodded.
Michael gave his statement, and so did Hailey.
"Thank you, is there anything else I can do for you today?" He asked softly, observing the couple.
"C-can we have a-a restraining order?" Hailey chocked out, and the officer nodded.
"Of course, but he won't be getting out anytime soon. I can reassure you that" he said with a soft smile.
Hailey let out a deep breath and nodded. They signed off on the restraining order, and Michael rubbed Hailey's side. She instantly started to calm down by his touch.
"Thank you officers for all the help" Michael said with a smile, and they shook hands.
"Anytime, it's our duty to keep you all safe. Have a good rest of your day!" The officer shook Hailey's hand as she said thank you as well, and they drove off.
        Hailey looked at Michael, and wrapped her arms around his neck.
         "How?" Hailey asked, and Michael giggled.
          "It's the soulmate connection in us, huh?" Michael said placing his hands on her hips.
           "No seriously babe, how'd you know? You were talking to John and the boys about the tour update. There's no way you could possibly know" Hailey said, and Michael shrugged.
           "Just some intuition I had about him today... I could tell, and besides, I was on my way home-we ended earlier than we thought. I saw his car on the highway going towards home and thought "hell no"" Michael said and making the brown haired girl smile.
          "I love you more than words can describe Michael..." Hailey said softly, but so in love with him.
          "Likewise baby girl" Michael said, and the two kissed each other.
           "Now, let's get inside I cooked breakfast and also I want to know about the tour update" Hailey said taking his hand in hers. Michael smiled just so in love with the girl.
"Thanks for cooking" Michael said happily as the two walked inside, and Hailey closed the door and locked it.
"You're welcome it's my pleasure" Hailey said as they walked up to their kitchen.
        "Mmm smells delicious" Michael commented on Hailey's cooking, making her smile.
        "I just hope it's not cold now" Hailey pouted and placed the plate in front of Michael who was sitting down to eat.
        "It'll be fine" Michael said to reassure the girl.
        The two ate quietly and occasionally Michael would keep looking at the girl. Hailey looked down blushing hard at his quick glances.
       "Stop looking at me like that" Hailey told him, as she finished up her last bite of eggs.
       "Looking at you like what? Like I'm in love? Cause I am very in love with you" Michael told softly, and she blushed.
        "I love you Michael" Hailey said with a smile, making a smile form on his own face.
        "I love you Hailey" Michael said, and he kissed her lips softly. Hailey kissed him back, and ran her fingers through his hair. Michael hummed and slowly pulled away from her.
         "I'm so glad Boy Band brought us together" Michael said, and Hailey smiled.
         "Forever greatful" Hailey told the boy, giving him a quick peck.
          Later that day, the two laid down watching TV, and Hailey walked over to where Michael was sitting.
          Michael's eyes were glued to the tv, as she sat down next to him. She leaned her head on his shoulder, making him look over towards her.
          "Oh hey" Michael said causally, and the girl giggled as she picked her head up.
         "Hmm, you never told me about your tour" Hailey said, and Michael's eyes widened since he totally forgot.
         "Okay so I don't have to go on tour for a while! We have a break for three months since I'm injured. All the boys are fine with it, and John put the message out to the fans. We're all set! So more time with my baby girl" Michael said, as she kissed her lips. Hailey smiled and kissed the boy back.
         "I know exactly what we can do in that free time" Michael said with a blush forming on his cheeks. He was ready, but he wasn't sure if Hailey was yet.
        "And what would that be?" Hailey asked, already assuming what he was getting at.
         "We could uh, try and make a baby..." Michael said softly, not sure if she wanted to since she just had a misscargue not too long ago.
        "I'd love too!" Hailey said happily, and Michael smiled.
        "Awesome! After I'm healed up, we can" Michael said and Hailey nodded. She smiled happily, and leaned into him.
       Michael rubbed her side, and he kissed her cheek. Hailey reached over and took his hand in hers.
       "I can't wait to start a family with you" Hailey said, and Michael looked at her.
      "It'll be the best decision I've ever made! Well, one of them" Michael said making her giggle.
        Three months pasted, and Hailey went to check a pregnancy test. Michael was leaving in two weeks, and she hoped it was positive. She didn't want to upset him before tour.
        Michael was at home, waiting anxiously for her to come back to take the test results. As she arrived home, he squealed happily.
        "Aww you're so adorable" Hailey said as she kissed him. Michael kissed back smiling against her lips.
      "I'm just so excited to start a family with you!" Michael said and Hailey nodded.
         "Babe, don't get ahead of yourself... it could be negative..." Hailey said softly, only stating the possibilities. Michael nodded starting to calm down a bit.
        Hailey took four test, and they all were negative. Hailey sighed and walked over to the overjoyed Michael, only to make him lose his spunk.
       "Babe... they were negative..." Hailey said as tears welled up in her eyes.
       "Shh shh, we can try again okay? We have time before tour" Michael said, and Hailey nodded.
         "I just hope it works out, and we can have our own family I just wa-" Michael cut Hailey off with a sweet kiss.
        "We're starting again tonight, until we get it okay? We're having our family! Don't doubt it, okay babe?" Michael said as he wiped a tear away from her eyes.
         "I love you and I'm so greatful to have you" Hailey told him, as she hugged him close.
         "I love you too, and likewise" Michael said hugging the girl close to him. The two stayed in each other's arms. Their life was going to take a turn for the bright side soon, and they couldn't wait for that day.
