Chapter 9

Mariana's pov

Papa, Allura and I head down the hallway of the hospital towards the elevator. "Allura can you take Mari home I think I'm going to stay here, they wont get mad at me because I work here and I'll  probably pick up a shift if I'm here" Papa said in a low voice "Papa tell Keith that I said hi" I tell him letting him know that its okay to leave "Alright goodnight sweetie" he hugs me then turns to run back to Keith's room "Allura?" I ask sweetly and innocent, she hums letting me know she's listening "Can I have ice cream before bed" she laughs and messes up my hair.

Time skip

It's the next day and I smell bacon coming from the kitchen I walk out of my room to the kitchen to see Keith standing there at the stove. "Keith what are you doing here you should be in the hospital and where's Papa, and oh my god I have school today why didn't you wake me up" I say running around the apartment "Mari calm down, I'm okay the hospital said that if I lived with Lance who could keep an eye on me, I could come home and Lance is at work" he calmly said holding my shoulders still "B-B-BUT I STILL HAVE SCHOOL!" I yell in his face, Keith begins to shake his head "No you don't lance pulled you out and will enroll you in online school" my face goes blank in his words "you convinced him" I ask in shock "Yup told you I can be very convincing now come eat your breakfast so we can go take some to Papa" he flushed red at his statement. awe that the first time he called Papa, Papa and not Lance "Okay" I reply not wanting to make him feel more awkward

Keith's pov

OMG I just referred to lance as Papa, omg I sware I don't have a Daddy kink "Dad" I hear Mariana say at the front door "Yes" I reply not realizing what she called me "Lets go take Papa his food come on slowpoke" she started to drag me out the door by my arm "Okay, okay I'm coming just let me lock the door" she wines and protests. "Lance" I say walking up behind him holding Mari's hand "Keith? Mari? what are you doing here?" I roll my eyes "Dad made papa breakfast," Mariana said again I didn't notice the name but Lance sure did "Mari did you just call Keith Dad?" he asks I look up and blush madly looking up at Lance "Ummm what?" I say seriously confused "Hahaha I've been calling him that all morning and he didn't notice" Mari laughs, I shoot her a glare "Why would you do that" I ask "Because you and papa are dating and it's serious" she says like its the most obvious reason ever "Serious?" she nods "Yup because your moving in and from this anyone can deduce that it's serious and that it will most likely lead to" she was cut off by lance placing his hand over her mouth "Mari stop analyzing everything and that won't happen for quite a long time" he says trying to convince her to give up, what are they talking about God I feel so stupid "Well what are the plans today going to do something fun?" lance asked changing the topic "Yup we were going to go shopping, then lunch where ever Mariana wants then I don't know what do you think we should do Mari?" I ask "Ummm we should go to the Fair today there won't be too many people and I can't run into any classmates because they are at school then lunch then we could go shopping then go home to watch movies" she says rather excitedly, I smile "Perfect sounds like a plan, well it looks like we should be leaving" I say with my smile still there as Mari and I walk away "Keith" I hear and turn, all of a sudden I'm being kissed by Lance "Have fun" was all he said before leaving. It had been a long day we did everything that was planned we are now watching the entire Shrek siries, so far we are on number three.

Lance's pov

I arrive at home after a long day of work. As I enter the small apartment I hear the ending of the third Shrek movie, I walk in to see the two I love most curled up on the couch fast asleep. I cover them with a blanket and check to see if Keith made dinner before passing out, it seems he didn't so I decide to make one of the dishes I learned from my mother, Arroz con pollo (rice with chicken). "Mmhhhmmm what smells so good" Keith asks in the cutest sleepy voice ever "You'll see its almost done, is Mari awake?" he nods and sits on the island, closing then opening his eyes over and over trying to stay awake. I put my spoon down and lift Keith off of the counter "Ok" I hear come from Keith "Off to bed you go" I repeatedly say carrying him to my room and place him on the bed "Sleep I'll wake you when its time to eat" I say as I leave. Before I shut the door I hear soft snores. God I'm going to love living with Keith.
