Chapter 14

Lance pov

I stare at myself in the mirror as I try to pick out a tie. "Papa, you look great," Mariana tells me. I smile down at her "I'm a bit nervous, I wasn't this nervous last time" I tell her, she smiles and gives me a blue tie with diagonal silver stripes "This one" she says handing me the tie "Alright," I simply say. Today is the day that I've been waiting for, it's my wedding day and I couldn't be more excited. Its been six months since the proposal. A lot has happened but I'm glad that I'm here I wouldn't have it any other way. "Knock Knock," Pidge says as she enters the room "Are you ready?" she asks, I nod my head in response as I tie my tie. "Yah" I sigh and leave the room

Keith pov

OMG OMG OMG OMG. It's my wedding day and I'm marrying lance, I never thought this day would come, over the past few months I've been the happiest I've ever been and its all thanks to Lance. After the engagement, we thought about the last name we would share. I decided to take his because I have no real attachment to my name, why would I, It was just given to me by the people who abandoned me. "Keith? Are you ready" I hear Kolvan ask from outside the room "Yeah I'll be out in a second" I responded, I take one more look in the mirror and leave "Geez you never did learn to tie a tie" Kolvan says after one look at me I chuckled and as he fixed my red tie with diagonal silver stripes that Mariana picked out "Nope but that's why your here" I tell him, he chuckles and says "I thought I was here to walk my son down the aisle," he links his arm around mine and smiles. We walked outside, I see Lance and Mariana waiting at the end of the aisle. He looks breathtaking in his nice black tux with a blue and silver tie with stripes that match mine, his hair is styled perfectly and I can see his beautiful blue eyes a mile away, I can't help but smile as I see his face light up as the music starts. As I walk down the aisle all eyes are on me but I couldn't care less, all I see is Lance and his beautiful blue eyes. We finally make it to the front of the aisle and Kolvan passes me to lance and we walk up to the alter "Hey" Lance whispered, I let out a little chuckle. At the alter is Shiro he got registered online to be our officiant "Well no one ever thought this day would come" he starts "but we're glad that it has, because we get to see these wonderful people come together to become one, now the vows" he looks at me and nods "Lance, since the first time I saw you i've been in love. I'm forever grateful that you decided to let me into your home, your family and especially your heart. You have been through so much in your life, the strength you have because of what you've been through amazes me and gives me strength. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you and Mariana."

Lance pov

I feel tears flow down my face and I haven't even started "Keith, you are the most beautiful, strong, independent, and confident person I've ever met. I don't think I have ever loved someone more in my entire life, the fact that we are standing right here today surrounded by our friends and family is enough to prove to me that no matter what this life throws at us, I" I look down and shake my head then look back into Keith's eyes and give him a smirk "We will make it through it and prove together how in love we are." I finish, we look up at Shiro "The rings" he says. I'm handed a silver ring with a single blue Saphire, and Keith is handed a gold ring with a single Ruby. I place the silver ring on his finger and he places the gold on mine. "I now pronounce you Husband's, You may kiss the groom" Shiro announced. I grab Keith by the waist and pull him close and give him the most passionate kiss of his life.
