Chapter Twenty - Terrance Archibald''I can't believe you're moving in with Cloud.''
''I can't believe we're being forced into helping him pack and on holiday no less.''
''Ryder, shut up. Terrance is pregnant and can't over work himself,'' Carmen snapped and Ryder huffed in response but went back to work sorting through my closet. ''But tell me, how did your family take the news about you moving in with Cloud?''
I grimaced. ''There was a lot of tears.''
''Your mom and sister didn't take it so well?''
''No they both were happy for me and started gushing about marriage or some crap; it was Lucas who was crying.'' I admitted which had Ryder burst into a fit of laughter.
''Probably upset that you're growing up faster then him.'' He mused.
''Huh, well don't you think it's too soon, Terrance?'' Carmen asked changing the subject and I sighed, running a hand through my hair.
''Of course I think it's too soon but I'm carrying his baby and normally marriage comes before getting pregnant, we're just that type of couple.'' I said mixing up Cloud's words from a few nights ago and Carmen rolled her eyes but didn't respond and continued packing up my personal belongings.
''Well are you and Cloud gonna have a house warming?'' Ryder spoke up, finishing packing up the last of my clothing into a box that was labeled clothing.
''Yeah, we're having a house warming sorta thing on New Years for only close friends and family,'' I said with nod. ''If either of you wanna come you're invited.''
''Will there be booze?''
''Yes, Ryder there will be booze.''
''All right count me in.''
''Yeah same here,'' Carmen agreed with a sigh. ''I want to see the place and I'm not passing up free alcohol.''

''Lucas and Carmen are against us moving in together.'' I spoke loud enough for Cloud to hear while he was placing both our collection of books into the built in white bookcase while I stood inside the closet, hanging up a hooded sweater with a heavy sigh.
''They're just being protective, Rex. I mean Lucas is your older brother and Carmen's you're best friend.''
I scowled. ''Well I wish they'd be less protective.''
''Rex, they're doing the whole protective thing in your favor and I'm glad you have those type of people in your life.''
''Well they can loosen up because even before now I was practically living at your mom's place.''
''That was different.''
''How so?''
''Because that was my mom's place and this right here is our place,'' He said and I could hear the smile in his voice which had my lips twitching up in a smile as well. I turned around and strolled out of the closet, leaning on the frame to watch Cloud as he placed the last book on the top shelf before turning around to face me. ''And the perks of having our own place means privacy and privacy means having sex where ever and whenever we please.''
''You've got a one track mind, Cloud Stryker.''
''Only for you, baby.''
I laughed at the stupid grin on his face but he quickly silenced me as he stalked forward and pressed me up against the frame of the closet, his right hand coming up to stroke my flushing cheek and I couldn't help but notice he was wearing the watch I had gotten him. I bit into my bottom lip, averting my eyes to meet with his before he leaned forward and molded his lips to mine in a smoldering kiss that stole my breath away and I wrapped my arms around his neck, pulling him in closer as our kiss grew fiercer and more hungry.
