Finn was tossing and turning in his room. he knew sleep wasn't gonna happen for him so he got up from his bed with a sigh. he checked his phone seeing that it is two in the morning. he leaves his room and looks across. he walks down the hall opening the door that hasn't been open for a while now. he closed it right behind him making sure no one would wake up.

the purple sheets on the bed were still how she left it. everything was how she left it. Finn told his parents not to touch anything until he is ready to move on. he looks at the conner where he found her and a tear fell. he wished he could have came earlier but sadly he didn't.

he sat on her bed hesitated on what his parents would think. as he sat he looked at the closet where her clothes are still in. his parents were planning to take them out soon. Finn thought that would be a step to recovery.

"you sure you should be in here?" Nick said closing the door. Finn didn't say anything to his oldest brother because he knew why Finn was in here and if he should or shouldn't be in here.

"if she didn't commit things would probably be different" Finn said as Nick sat down next to him. "things would be happier.."

"but then you would probably not even met Jaeden properly" Nick said making a point. "things happen for a reason even if the reason is tragic and upsetting."

"how did you move on so fast? its like you never been upset about it. its almost like you never knew her" Finn turned to Nick crying. the oldest held Finn in his arms.

"i didn't move on so fast.. im still trying to figure out what did i do wrong or why she couldn't come to me for help. i think about her time to time and just break down crying knowing i wasn't there for her" Nick explained. "i let her down.. but as i see you break down i feel like im letting you down. i dont want it to be too late"

"too late for what?"

"i dont want it to be too late for having this conversation when you are six feet underground telling you i was always here for you. you were starting to act like how she was on her few days on earth but then that boy came i to your life.. jack? Jaeden and him talked to me and he seemed so sweet and caring."

"yeah he is also an asshole so..." Finn said rolling his eyes. "he is a bikini bottom whore!"

Nick laughed at the statement his brother had made even though he was probably over exaggerating. Finn started laughing too until he heard a knock on the door. they face it to see their parents with a smile.

"what are you guys doing?" their mom asked and Finn sighed.

"how its never too late to be happy" he replied. "and that maybe starting fresh is a good thing."

that night they made plans to clean out her room and make it how she would have wanted it; cleaned.
