the next day Jack did what he did everyday when he was home. He went out with his friends morning till dinner time. he got ready and left the house hopping into his friends car.

he was gloomy and his friends saw it but chooses to ignore it thinking it was just because the weather was off. usually its sunny in california but today it was cloudy and would probably rains so people would shift moods. they thought that was just happening to Jack.

Back in Canada a few hours back before Jack had even woken up Finn laid awake. regret of him not saying goodbye and not just getting up running leaving Millie at his house.

Jaeden will be sneaking into his bed room soon since Finn did call him to come over because he needed to clear his chest. he wanted to tell Jaeden what he didn't tell Jack.

"god damn the older i get the more hard this shit is" Jaeden said tumbling down on the floor. Finn giggled at his best friend as he got up to lock the door and turn on the lights.

"im sad" Finn said and Jaeden frowned. he knew why and he wouldn't blame him.

"i miss him too.." Jaeden said sitting next to Finn on the bed. "he should be sleeping now but you can text him in the morning"

"you sure he'll still text me after i didn't say bye to him? god im so stupid i shouldn't have invited Millie after he left!" Finn said now hitting his back of his head on the head board.

"you couldn't wait to tell Millie what happened and it isn't your fault! you did the right thing but your timing was a bit off. i'm sure he'll understand" Jaeden explained. "look just explain to him in text"

"i don't know he can easily just read it and not answer" Finn said. "i should have told him-."

"stop! i have an idea grab your laptop!" Jaeden said and Finn did as told. Jaeden smirked typing away on the laptop. Finn noticed what he was doing and began to get butterflies.

now back to the present where Jack is now hanging out with his group of friends at the park. Ellie and him are swinging as the others lay in front of them blasting their music. they were all glad he came back and James was excited to tell him some juicy stuff.

Jack would just drift his mind back to Canada where his love is at. sadly, to him his love didn't love him back which would obviously ruin him but he promised himself that it wouldn't break him.

he tried his best to focus on his friends here since they knew him better than anyone else but Finn actually got him.

"do you guys know my favorite color?" Jack asked randomly.

"yes it's purple" one says and everyone agrees.

Jack felt like someone had gotten his heart and stepped on it. did they really not know? would Finn know it? he pulled out his phone even though the rest didn't reply he hoped Finn did.

Jack was glad he answered but wondered why the others didn't. with a sigh he put his phone back and focused on his friends. he was now starting to feel better and getting use to being home. James let him lay on his lap as he played with flowers.
