Salvation~ Jasper Hale [1]

8~ Sweet sixteen.

It's been months since I found out that I'm mated to Jasper and everything has been great. Jasper and I have been going on dates at the meadow. Kids at school give us looks but it doesn't bother us I mean we're not even related. Mike and I haven't been talking ever since I got with Jasper I mean I reach out to him but get nothing in return.

I wake up to Alice. "Come on! Get up get up get up get up get upppppp!" Alice says shaking me. "Okay, I'm up!" I say. "Good now go freshen up and meet the rest of us downstairs," she says and leaves happily. I brush my teeth and wash my face and walk downstairs.

When I get there's ice cream cake and a couple of presents. "Okay thanks for going small," I say. I look around and I see there's no Jasper. "Where is he?" I ask. "That's a surprise," Esme says with a wink.

I open all of my gifts and Esme and Carlisle give me a Mercedes car key. "Ummm what's this," I say. " It's for you to go wherever you want," Esme says. I walk outside and see a Mercedes jeep in the driveway. "Thanks," I say. "Now go to your treehouse there's a surprise waiting for you," she says.

I walk to the treehouse and I see Jasper standing outside smiling at me. "Happy birthday darling," he says and hugs me. "Come on I've got a surprise for you," he says.

He puts me on his back and he jumps from a tree to another tree in the air and it's amazing he climbs to the top of a tree and I see the whole forest from there. "This is amazing!" I say.

"I bet you feel invincible as a vampire," I say. "Sometimes it's great sometimes it's not," he says with a chuckle. "It's so beautiful out here the most beautiful thing I've ever seen," she says. "It's not mine," he says and I turn around and he smiles.

"Come on I have another surprise," he says. "Jasper doesn't go overboard," I say. He laughs and I get on his back and jumps down and runoff.

He puts me down and we're at the meadow and I see a blanket and some pillows a MacBook, food, and a stereo. "Happy sixteenth birthday Anastasia," he says. I go sit down and I start eating strawberries.

"This is amazing really," I say. "Okay let me make it more amazing," he says. He grabs my hands and stands me up and he gets on one knee. "Anastasia this is a promise ring and I promise to love, be loyal, be true, be honest, to care, and to be there for you for the rest of my existence," he says.

The ring is an infinity ring and it has three big diamonds in it. "I promise the same back, you are the greatest thing that's ever happened to me," I say. He turns on the radio and starts playing "Can I have this dance". While we're dancing it started to raining softly. He kisses me, "Come on let's go," he says.

We get back to my treehouse and I change my clothes and we sit and watch Netflix. "Jasper there's one thing that I want so badly," I say. "What is it?" He asks. "I want to become like you," I say. "No Ana no," he says. "Yes and I want you to change me," I say.

"No I want you to live a long happy life with me is that not enough," he says. "No it's not Jasper enough well more than enough is being with you forever that's what I want," I say.

"No Ana I don't want you to be a monster to look in the mirror and hate yourself sometimes," he says. "Jasper answer me this, when I die what are you gonna do? Since you say I'm your only reason for existing" I say. "I'll follow you," he says. "See death will part us when we don't have to be parted at all," I say.

"Look, just give me to after we graduate okay we're sophomores now then we'll see but right now no," he says. "Okay," I say.

He kisses my head and I'm looking at him, "you aren't gonna change me are you ?" I ask. "No" he chuckles and I attempt to hit him and of course he stops me before I could and kisses my head. "Come on let's continue watching tv," he says and I cuddle up to him.

Alice's POV

Everyone is sitting in the living room and Anastasia and Jasper are upstairs. I'm walking with my book in my hand when I get a vision, of a girl but she was with Edward and she's human.

She has brunette hair and their talking at school in the cafeteria also talking in the forest. The vision ends and Lucas s right beside me. Anastasia and Jasper come from downstairs he probably felt my feelings.

"Alice, what is it?" Lucas asks. "I had a vision of a girl and she's mated to" I start. "Me," Edward says. "She's also human," I say. Anastasia begins to smile.

"I saw them talking at school in the cafeteria and in the woods behind the school," I say. "So she'll be a new girl," Anastasia says. "She might," I say. Now we just have to wait.
