Salvation~ Jasper Hale [1]

4~ First day of school.

My parents got me this big treehouse it's basically my own home but I still sleep in the other house. I'm getting ready for bed when my whole family comes into my room.

"Are you excited for your first day of school tomorrow?" My mom asks. "Yeah, I'm kind of nervous I've only been around you guys all my life," I say. "Well we'll be there and you have all of your classes with Jasper so no worries and all of us
have the same lunch period so don't worry" Alice says.

"Well that's great but I wanna make friends other than all of you sorry don't take it the wrong way," I say. "No, we get it every human experiences this" Lucas says. "Well let's give Anastasia her sleep, see you bright and early," mama says and they all walk out and leave, except Jasper he stops at the door and turns around.

"They'll love you what's not to love," he says. "Thanks, Jasper you always know what to say to change my mood without using your gift," I say and he nods turns the light off, and leaves.

Esme wakes me up and I take a shower and get ready for my first day of school. I walk downstairs to be met with a flash of a camera, and I open my eyes and see Alice with a camera in her hand.

"Sorry, it's your first day we should celebrate," Alice says. "Look I'm already nervous enough please don't make it a big deal" I beg. "Yeah sorry" she giggles and walks off to Lucas. I eat breakfast and get into the car with Rosalie and Alice.

We drive out to the school and it looks kind of old fashion like the town but it has this welcoming feeling to it. We get out of the car and everyone is staring at us. Rosalie sashays towards the building with Emmet. Alice and Lucas walk towards the building hand in hand and that leaves Edward, Jasper, and I.

We walk in and the staring is worse in the hallway. We get into the office and the secretary smiles at all of us. "You all must be the adoptive children of the new town doctor Dr. Cullen, okay I'm gonna give you your schedules and a map of the school come forward when you hear your name, Alice Cullen, Lucas Hale, Rosalie Hale, Jasper Hale, Anastasia Cullen, Edward Cullen, and Emmet Cullen," she says.

We all look at our schedules and the map of the building. "It's nice to meet you all, have a nice year, and welcome to Forks high school," she says we thank her and walk out.

  Jasper and I have the first period together and it's English. I follow him because he's walking like he knows where he's going. We get to class and we sit in that back and wait for the teacher to get in.

"Hello class I'm Mr. Daniels and today we're gonna be doing an all about me essay it needs to be at least three paragraphs," he says. Jasper and I start to write about our lives. We're the first ones to turn it in so we get free time.

Jasper's reading while I'm on my phone playing games. I started to feel the cool air on the side of my knee and I look down and I see his leg touching mine mainly because he's so tall he barely fits in the desks here.

I guess he noticed, "Oh sorry I didn't know," he says. "No it's okay I barely noticed" I lied and he smiles. The bell rings yet for us to start another class.

It's finally time for lunch and I'm starving. Jasper and I are walking to the lunchroom to meet with the rest of our siblings. "Oh I forgot my lunch box in the classroom I gotta go get it," I say. "Let me go with you," he says. "No you go on ahead I'll catch up," I say and he nods and leaves.

I get my lunchbox and head out of the classroom until someone knocks me down. "Oh I'm so sorry here let me help you up," the stranger says. I look up and see a blonde boy with blue eyes.

"Hi I'm Mike Newton and you must be one of the new girls in town," he says. "Uh yeah I am my name is Anastasia Cullen," I say.  "That's a pretty name for a pretty girl, I was on my way to lunch," he says. "Yeah me too," I say. "Wanna walk with me there?" He asks. "Yeah sure," I say.

Jasper's POV

My siblings and I were waiting for Anastasia in the cafeteria at our table. "Where is she? and why'd you leave her? She's probably lost" Rosalie spats at me. "Believe me I wanted to go with her but she insisted She go by herself," I say.

"Well guys I don't think we have to wait anymore for Anastasia," Emmet says. We look towards the cafeteria doors and we see Ana and this blonde kid talking and he's making her blush. A growl escapes from my throat.

"Woah calm down tiger" Emmet jokes. "Edward, what is he thinking?"I ask him. "He thinks she's cute and a very nice girl," he says. I guess they finished their conversation because she waves goodbye and walks over to us.

Anastasia's POV

I go to sit with my siblings and there's this tension around. "Hey, I made a friend as in a human one," I say excitedly. "That's great," Rosalie says with a smile. "See I told you not to worry," Alice says.

I turn and look at Jasper and he looks upset about something, he's clenching one of the table legs so tight. "Are you alright?" I ask. "Yeah I'm fine," he says with an attitude. I just nod and I look over at Mike and he's smiling at me and I smile back.

Jasper puts his arm behind my chair and Mike looks away from it was kind of weird. The bell rings and Jasper and head to our last class.

It's time to go home and I'm at my locker and Mike comes up to me. "Hey um, I just wanted to see if you wanted to exchange numbers?" Mike asks. "Um yeah sure," I say.

We give each other our phones say goodbye and walk away. I get to the student parking lot and Jasper's waiting for me by Rosalie's car. He opens the door for me and I get in He smiles at me and gets in Emmet's car. When I got home I got a text message from Mike and I smile, I might like school after all.
