Salvation~ Jasper Hale [1]

5~ Movie Night.

It's been two months since the first day of school. It's the end of the day and I'm at my locker packing up my stuff and getting ready for the weekend, Mike comes up to me.

"Hey, I was wondering if you wanted to see a movie with me or something tomorrow night," He says. "Like at your house?" I ask. "Uh no at the movie theater" he chuckles. "Oh duh I'm sorry before this year I've been homeschooled and I've only been around my adoptive siblings and my parents and my cousins in Alaska but um I don't know if my parents will allow me," I say.

"Well you're fifteen I'm pretty sure they'll let you out with a friend just ask them and let me know," he says. "Okay sure thing and you're probably right they probably will let me okay see ya," I say. "Bye," he says and we part ways.

I get to Emmet's car with Emmet driving Edward in the passenger seat and Jasper and me in the back. "Um, do y'all think Esme and Carlisle will let go see a movie tomorrow with Mike?" I ask. "You mean with just you and him or more people?" Edward asks.

"I think it's just me and him," I say. "So he's taking you on a date?" Emmet asks. "No nothing like that, just two friends hanging out," I say. "Oh well just ask I'm pretty sure they'll allow you," Edward says.

We get home and I drop off my book bag in my room and Carlisle didn't go to work today so I can ask them now. I go downstairs and Emmet, Alice, Rosalie, Esme, and Carlisle were in the living room.

" Um mom, dad I just wanted to ask you if you would allow me to go o the movies tomorrow with my friend Mike?" I ask. "Mike? So it's a boy. Are y'all gonna be alone?" Carlisle asks. "Yes," I say. "Well, what movie?" Esme asks. "Umm I think it's called Everything, Everything," I say.

"I think it's fine, as long as Jasper goes with y'all" they both agree. "Why does he have to come?" I ask. "You're fifteen and alone with a boy in a dark room, do you understand what I'm saying," Emmet says.

"Oh okay," I say. I see Jasper on the balcony so I go out there with him. "Hey, would you mind coming to the movies with Mike and me tomorrow?" I ask him. "Sure why not. What movie?" He asks. "Everything, Everything," I say. "You're gonna have a great time, Mike is very nice and funny," I say and he just smiles. I go back up to my room and tell Mike and he sounds super excited. I can't wait till tomorrow night.

Jasper and I arrive at the movies and we see Mike. "Hey, guys," he says. "Hi," I say. We hug and Jasper buys our tickets and gets me some food and we walk in.

"So what's the movie about?" I ask Mike. "A girl's mother kept her in the house and told the girl if she goes outside she'll get sick and then a boy moves in next door sees her and falls in love with her. They get her out of the house and go to the beach because she wants to see the ocean." He says. "That sounds like a good movie," I say.
