14~ Family Fun Gone Wrong.

We're all at our usual baseball spot and Edward and Bella showed up. "Glad you're here Bella Anastasia is usually our umpire and she can't do it alone so you can help her," Esme says. "It's because she thinks we cheat," Emmet says. "Oh I know you cheat, call them as you see them, girls," Esme says.

Thunder starts to rumble and everyone knows that it's time. "It's time," Alice says. Rosalie steps up and hits the ball straight into the forest and Edward is after it. "Okay I see why you need the thunder, but that has to be a home run," Bella says. "Um Edward is pretty fast," Esme says and the ball comes right back and lands in Esme's hands.

"You're out" Bella and I say. "Out woo!" Emmet says. Rosalie gets up and tries to intimidate Bella, "Babe come on it's just a game". Bella looks at me with a shrug. "Don't worry about it" I say.

Carlisle steps up and hits the ball, Emmet and Edward both jump up to catch the ball and they crash into each other and Carlisle gets a home run. Jasper steps up and winks at me, he hits the ball but Emmet catches it.

Rosalie steps up again, "STOP!" Alice yells. Everyone runs back to home plate and Jasper is immediately by my side. "Jasper comes on let's get them out of here," Edward says. "It's too late," Carlisle says.

"Jasper, what's going on?" I ask "Everything will be alright just don't let go of me okay?" He says and I nod as he pulls me close and wraps his arms around me.

I see three figures emerge from the forest, A black male, A blonde male, and a red header female. I looked at them and I could tell they were vampires only with red eyes which mean human blood.

"I believe this belongs to you," The black male says and throws the ball to Carlisle. "Thank you," Carlisle says. "I am Laurent and this Victoria and James" Laurent introduces himself.

"I'm Carlisle and this is my family," Carlisle says. "Hello" Laurent greets. "I'm afraid your hunting activities have caused somewhat of a mess for us," Carlisle says. "Our apologies, we didn't realize the territory had been claimed," Laurent says.

"Yeah well we maintain a permanent residence nearby," Carlisle says. "Really well we won't be a problem anymore we were just passing through," Laurent says.

"The humans were tracking us but we lead them east you should be safe," Victoria says. "Excellent" Carlisle says. "Well can you use a few more players?" Laurent asks. Carlisle is kind of hesitant, "oh come on just one game" Laurent begs.

"Alright a few of us were leaving you could take their place, we'll bat first," Carlisle says and throws the ball to Laurent but Victoria is the one who catches it. "I'm the one with the wicked curveball," Victoria says. "Oh well, I think we can handle that," Lucas says and everyone cheers and laughs.

Everyone goes their different ways except James, Jasper, Edward, Bella, and I. Jasper, Edward, and James are all having a staring contest and Jasper holds me tighter. James walks away as a wind blows through my hair.

James turns around and I hear Jasper growl. "You brought snacks," James says trying to come near Bella and me I. Jasper and Edward push Bella and me back and Esme stands in front of  Bella and me and everyone else stands in front of us protectively.

"The girls are with us I think it's best if you leave," Carlisle says. "I can see the game is over we'll go now, James!" Laurent says. James stands up from his crouching position and puts his arm around Victoria and they leave.

"Edward gets Bella out of here," Carlisle says as Edward and Bella rush off to Emmet's jeep. "Alice, Lucas, Esme, and I will follow them. Rosalie, Emmet, and Jasper take Ana home and pack her a bag" Carlisle says and Jasper picks me up and Him and Rosalie, Emmet, and I are off to the house.

We get to the house and I'm sitting in my room with Jasper, Rosalie, and Emmet who are packing me a bag and Jasper is on the phone with Edward.

"So what now he's coming after me?" I ask. Jasper hangs up and paces back and forth. "Hello?" I say. "Yes he's coming after you and Bella and he's not gonna stop until he has the two of you, but don't worry he's gonna have ripped my head off to get to you," Jasper says.

"Us too," Emmet says and Rosalie nods. We hear the doors open and close and It's the rest of the family with Laurent. "He came to warn us but we're gonna wait till Bella and Edward get here," Carlisle says.

We all sit down in the living room and wait for Bella and Edward. They finally came through the door and Edward stands in front of her protectively when he sees Laurent.

 "He's here to warn us," Carlisle says and they come and sit down. "James has unparalleled senses absolutely lethal, nothing I've seen in my 300 hundred and the woman Victoria don't underestimate her and I've grown tired of their games," Laurent says and leaves.

Everyone heads to the garage where the rest of my family is. "I've fought our kind before we're not easy to kill," Jasper says. "But not impossible, we'll tear him apart and burn the pieces," Emmet says.

"I don't relish in killing another being even a sadistic one like James," Carlisle says. "What if he kills one of us first?" Rosalie asks. "Jasper and I are gonna run Bella and Anastasia south," Edward says.

"No Edward James knows that the two of you will never leave their side," Carlisle says. "I'll take the girls," Alice says. "Can you keep your thoughts to yourself?" Edward asks. "Yes, and Lucas and I will keep them safe" Alice says. "Okay," Jasper says.

Alice runs Bella and me to the car and we get in. I roll down my window and look at Jasper. "If they harm you I'll find someone to turn me and I'll kill James and Victoria," I say. "Calm down my darling there's eight of us and two of them we got this," he says while stroking my hair. "I just want you to know something the last four years of us being together I will cherish them for the rest of my life Jasper," I say. "I'll love you for the rest of my existence and after my existence and if there's a life after that I'll love you then," Jasper says and kisses me and when he releases and Alice droves off leaving a pained faced Jasper watching is drive off.
