MIRIAM’S P.O.V
“Connor…” I took one last breathe and spoke the hardest thing ever. “Sorry I hurt you; I know I don’t deserve your forgiveness.”
I was about to leave him alone but he grabbed my wrist.
“Please, just sit.” He led me sitting back on the bed. “Just don’t leave. I beg you, please don’t. I’m sorry I’ve made you waited for nothing during this time. I’m such a coward.”
“Don’t say that…”
“Mi, this was my fault and Rob has the best girl on earth right now. He won your heart; the heart I don’t deserve one, the heart of girl I’ve loved since the first memory I had in my life.”
I was crying so hard already.
“Miriam, I love you. It’s always been you since the day one, and forever you.”
“I love you too…”
“No, I know you don’t feel the same. So let’s consider it as information and that’s all.” He pinched my nose with his red eyes. We’ve cried all day long, together.
“CONNOR, THERE’S SOMEBODY DOWNSTAIRS I DON’T KNOW WHO!” Toby stopped his marathon right in front of Connor’s room; lost his breathe. Connor and I were throwing the concerned look one another, as we stepped downstairs.
“There you are! A date for tonight baby, remember?” Rob stood at the living room confronted something to Connor – I just knew there’s always something to be confronted between these two boys.
“What are you doing here?” Connor looked deep down into Rob’s eyes. Somebody, you might count this down; I swore there’d be a fight in any minutes.
“Picking up MY GIRL, McDonough, problem?”
“Yeah, leave her alone and come back again once you’ve done learn how to treat a girl right.”
“You talk to me?” Rob confronted him even worse.
“ROB, STOP!!!” I screamed from Connor’s side. “I’m not going with you, though we’ve spoke through phone about this.”
“Oh, you enjoy your time with this celebrity, yeah?”
Connor grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers.
“TAKE YOUR HAND OFF OF MY GIRL!” Rob’s face became red.
“I’M NOT YOUR GIRL!!!” This time, in between my shaky voice, I screamed too loud to Rob.
“SAY IT AGAIN?!”
“I’M NOT YOUR GIRL. I BREAK UP WITH YOU. WE’RE DONE!” I ran to Connor’s room as he followed me, leaving Rob with Riley and Toby who sent him outside.
“Mimi…” Connor rubbed my back and pulled me against his chest as I was crying so loud. “I know, I know, okay let it go. Breathe…”
