MIRIAM’S P.O.V

After killed the first 30 minutes of doing nothing, I decided to sit at the Starbucks corner at this waiting room.  There’s another one and a half hours to go.  So I ordered a hot chocolate and took a seat, stared at nonsense outside, held my phone, tried to decide like should I text Connor or what.

“Going somewhere?”  A low-toned voice came up from behind which made me jump a bit too much.  But I was that shocked.

“CONNOR, YOU…”

He leaned a kiss on my lips and I could feel his tears were falling down as I kissed him back.

“Why don’t you tell me about this…”  He held my face with his both hands, talked straightly into my eyes.

“I don’t think that’s the right thing to do, Con…”

“And you think this is right?”

“No…”  I cried harder than before.

“Mi, I love you so much…  Don’t leave me again.”

“I love you too Connor.  But wait, how did you know that I’m here?”

“Thank God I was listening to your answer by the time I asked you about ‘goodbye’ stuff, babe.”  He pecked my lips.

“Sorry…”

“No, don’t say sorry.  So now, I have an idea.  But we have to get out of here.  Just follow me I’ve arranged everything.”  He led the way outside without letting me asked what would happen with my Hawaii flight.

“Watch your step babe, here you go.”  Connor helped me to get into the tour bus.  I knew the rest were trying to say hi to me but Connor led me to the dressing room at the back, to have further talk.

“So this is what we’re going to do.  Because your Mom needs you right now but no way could I join you because of the tour, so we should split ups.  I’m going to fly to LA tonight at 9, and I’ve bought you another ticket to Hawaii at the same exact boarding time.  During this time, we’ll check on every hospital in the town for Mom.  I’ll be back soon from LA, as soon as I can.  But at least you’re here already and Rob will never look after you anymore…”  Connor spoke too fast and too excited, like we both were crying the happy tears.

“Okay, okay…”

“Yeah?  You okay with that?  I’ll be here soon and will help you to take care of Mom because she’s my Mom too.”

“Thanks so much Connor…”

“You’re welcome babe.  And you’ll be accompanied by James’ friend; he will help you to arrange the flight back from Hawaii to Orlando with the hospital management.  All has set.  You don’t need to worry and feel like you’re alone anymore.”

I hugged Connor too tight and too long, to released everything.  No words needed at time like this.

“But first of all, let me ask you this first…”  He ran his fingers through my hair, and held my hand, bowed his face.  “Be mine?”

“Is that even a question?”  I lifted his chin up.  “Yes.”

“You said yes!?”  He gave me that kind of expression, like a happiest puppy in the world.

“You’ve kissed my lips already so what should I say though…”  I pouted playfully as he lifted my body and spin me around.

“FINALLY,” We heard the boys cheered outside; you know, they were actually standing behind the door.

“Yeah, finally.”  Connor kissed me again in front of everybody and I was so happy about it.  I’m Connor’s, I confirmed you that.
