Y/n POV

I was walking around the forest looking for some prey, but since I'm "so loud" I scare "all the prey away". At least that's what my clan mates say but I don't really care because I may not be good at hunting but I am one of thunderclan a best fighters! I grumbled still not being able to find any prey.

Until I saw a mouse eating some grass. I immediately get into a hunters crouch and start stalking towards it slowly. I got closer until I heard a voice say "boo" I jumped and yowled pinning down the cat. My fur bristled slightly. "Brambleclaw?! Seriously! I was about to catch that mouse!" I hissed. I got off him and he smirked, "oops my bad" he meowed.

I rolled my eyes. He always teased me but we are best friends so what do u expect? I laughed and pawed his face a little. "You big lump of fur! Ur gonna be the death of me" I giggled. He then rolled his eyes, "me? It's the other way around y/n" he meowed and pawed my head playfully.

I giggled, "god I love you" she smiled. Brambleclaw looked a bit surprised. I rolled my eyes, "not like that!" He then shrugged and chuckled. He looked away and silently sighed. I turned my head to the side. "You ok?" I said, "Yea" he meowed and walked off.

But me being the curious Cat I followed him without him knowing. And as I watched him do nothing I jumped and landed on his back. I giggled as he rolled over. "Y/nnnnn!" He playfully hissed. "Yesss?" I meowed teasingly. He grunted, "get off meee pleaseee?" He playfully smacked my head making me giggle more.

"Nope!" "Fine" he grunted and easily shoved me off. I grumbled, "meany" he rolled his eyes and smiled. "Shouldn't we get back to camp?" He mowed. "Ya lets go, I'll race you!" I hissed playfully as I ran already. Since I had a slimmer body then Brambleclaw it was easier to run faster.

I won of course and we laughed and then
We walked into camp in silence. As soon as we walked in camp SquirrelFlight greeted Brambleclaw. "Hey brambleclaw! Wanna share some prey?" She smiled. My eyes narrowed slightly. "Sure!" Brambleclaw chirped. I looked at him and saw love in his striking amber eyes. I felt something like in my chest. I shook my head and laughed at the two as they walked to a corner of camp. I sighed, looking at the ground.

What's this feeling? I shouldn't even care. He's my best friend.. nothing more.. right?

Brambleclaw POV

As I walked with SquirrelFlight I looked back at Y/n and saw her look a bit .. sad? I shrugged it off for now. Me and SquirrelFlight shared a Squirrel. Ironic. I chuckled a bit. "What?" She asked as she took another bit. "A Squirrel eating a Squirrel" I meowed. She rolled her eyes and chuckled as well. I blushed a bit and looked away. I looked back up and saw Y/n leave with Ashfur.

What are they doing???

I decided to go follow them. "Hey I'm going to go on a walk..see you in the den." And without waiting for SquirrelFlight's answer I just walked out and tracked Y/n and Ashfur's scent.
I saw them close to each other. Ashfur's tail was on Y/n's. I slightly growled at the sight.

Back to Y/n POV

Ashfur came up to me and told me he needed to talk to me. I sighed and got up following him. we walked towards snake rocks.. silently. I felt a little awkward. Then he stopped and I realized we were at snake rocks.

"Y/n I know you like Brambleclaw and I like SquirrelFlight so they are always together and I was thinking we could make a plan." He meowed pretty quickly. My ears flattened.
"First off, stop talking so quickly. And second, I don't like brambleclaw" he rolled his eyes. "I know you do!" He insisted. I sighed.

"Whatever, but what's your 'plan' " I said. He smiled. "We can pretend to get close and start to 'fall in love' and make them jealous!" I rolled my eyes. "You're crazy. What if they don't get jealous?" He started to growl. "Come on Y/n!! I love SquirrelFlight!!! And Brambleclaw is getting in the way!"

I started to hiss, "I don't even like Brambleclaw! He's my best friend! He can love who ever he wants as long as he's happy! And if you love SquirrelFlight then you would be happy for her!" I hissed lashing my tail. Ashfur set his tail on mine. "Y/n do you at least like him?" He meowed as I felt his breath on my head. I sighed. "I.. love him but as long as he's happy I'm ok" I looked away and Ashfur sighed. He scooted closer about to say something but we heard a low growl. We jumped apart.

I got ready to fight. Claws unsheathed. Fur on end. Growling. Ya I was ready. I hissed, "who's there?!" While my tail lashed around. I saw amber eyes and run off. I hissed and ran towards the direction the amber eyed cat ran towards. Ashfur ran to but I told him to go to camp.

I ran fast tackling that cat. But then the cat pinned me down. I looked up. Brambleclaw.. of course. I sighed. "Y/n" he said. "Listen did you hear anything?" I said quickly. He hesitated, "no" I wiggled. "You did.. oh starclan.." he sighed. "I did.... you like me?" He meowed looking into my e/c eyes.

I looked into his striking amber eyes. My face heated up. "Uh well...*sigh*" might as well get it over with.. "I..do..but I'm sorry..I don't wanna ruin our friendship because of me and plus you love SquirrelFli-" Brambleclaw cut me off.

"No. I don't love her. I only see her as a friend nothing more. I.. love you.. I have for a while..I didn't want to ruin anything with you .. because I thought you didn't return my feelings.. that's why I never said anything..but Y/n I love you.. I love everything about you.. I love how you're e/c eyes sparkle when I look into your eyes.. I love you're beautiful p/c Pelt and you're laugh, you're smile, you're personality, just everything. I only love you. I'm so glad to have you in my life" he touched my nose with his. "So y/n..will you give me a chance?"

I smiled. And rubbed muzzles with Brambleclaw. "Of course I will. I love you too Brambleclaw. I always have" I whispered.

And me and Brambleclaw curled up together saying sweet things to each other.
