Paige's POV
"Hand them over," Landon sighed in defeat and wiggled his fingers at me and I clapped in victory.
I knew he hurt all over but he kept denying the pain meds that I offered him. He plopped down on the couch once we got back to his house.
"You had somebody clean?" He pried one eye open and looked around the living room after knocking back like little orange pills.
"Yeah," I shrugged.
"Will you come sit with me?" Landon patted the side of the couch and yawned.
I walked over to him and tucked my feet under me after I sat down. Landon wound an arm around my shoulders and pulled me into him.
"I hate this thing," he tugged against the blue sling seizing his right arm against his chest.
"Three weeks." I assured him.
"That's three weeks too many." Landon groaned and dropped his head back to lean on the cushion of the couch.
"I can button your pants for you, don't worry," I leaned up and kissed his cheek. He grabbed my wrist before I could pull back.
"Maybe. But I can't hug you like I want to with this stupid thing." He pulled against the sling again and then hissed in pain.
"I'll survive with a one armed hug for a couple weeks," I chuckled against his cheek and he scrunched his nose.
"But I won't," Landon whined again and rested his head on my shoulder.
He yawned again and I felt his head roll almost off of my shoulder.
"Hey, come here," I whispered down into his ear and scooted to the far side of the couch.
I pulled his on hand and he crawled over to me. I patted my thighs and Landon dropped his head down to my lap. His legs were too long to rest on the cushions so he tossed them over the arm of the couch.
"Go to sleep," I spoke softly and bent down to kiss him on the lips. He pursed them lightly and sighed heavily when I pulled back.
My fingers raked through his unruly hair and I scratched his scalp. He let out soft moans when I tugged little chunks of his hair.
"I'm going to fall asleep here," Landon sighed and turned onto his left side.
"Good." I dropped one hand to his back and ran my fingernails softly up and down the length of his spine over his shirt.
"I love you, Paige," Landon let out one last deep breath and then his breathing evened out and he fell asleep.
Landon's POV
I opened my eyes and suddenly I'm standing in front of a crowd of people that I don't recognize seated in chairs.
Glancing down at my feet, I saw that I was in a tuxedo. My shoes were shiny and I thought for a moment that I could see myself in their reflection.
A man was standing behind me with a bible tucked in his hand. Music suddenly began to play and I whipped my head back around when people began standing from their seats.
Pink and red petals of some sort were sprinkled on the ground. And I followed them with my eyes all the way back to a massive door. I was in a church.
The huge doors at the end of the isle opened with a loud creak and and I squinted my eyes to see what the commotion was about.
All I saw was white. It was a blur of a white fabric and pink petals. I blinked over and over again. My hands searched for my arm so I could pinch myself, but before I did, I looked up.
