Juvia's POV...

It's been years ago when I last talked to my mom. She was always out of the country that I almost forgot what she looked like before. I never saw her in person anymore. But now I need her to answer my question. My hands are shaking while holding my phone. I then called her. It took more rings before she answered the call.

[Hello, who's this?]

My eyes started watering as my heart clenched. It's been years since I last heard her voice.

"I-It's me...Juvia L-lockser, your daughter. Do you still remember me?"

It was a long silence I thought she was gone. My heart is beating so fast it might explode.

[J-juvia...why did you called? D-do you need anything, d-dear?]

My chest tightened when I heard her mentioned my name. I hate to admit it but I missed her so damn much it hurts a lot to hear her voice.

"Can w-we meet?"

[S-sure. When?]

"Are you free today?"

[Yes, I am.]

"Meet me at the M**** café. This lunch time please."

[O-okay.]

I immidiately ended the call as my chest tightened, making it hard for me to breathe. My heart clenched in pain. I'm going to see my mom who abandoned me. Tears started pouring down.

I was patiently waiting for my mom to arrive here in the café. I didn't informed Gray about this anymore 'cause I'm sure he won't let me. Besides, he's not home so I grabbed the opportunity. I was staring outside the window when I felt someone's presence, in front of me. I turned my head to look at the person and my brain processed her face for a moment until I recognized her that made my eyes widen.

"Hello, Juvia dear." She said then smiled at me.

I watched her as she take her seat. I noticed her hair was cut short, just right above her shoulders. Wrinkles are already forming above her head but nevertheless, she still looked young. I really looked like her but I never see myself becoming like her.

"So, what do you need?" She asked politely.

I need you mom...

My heart clenched from the thought so I immidiately brushed it off.

"Uhm...Anyways, how are you? You're a grown up lady now. How's your studies? Do you have a boyfri---"

"I didn't asked you to meet me for that. I wanted to ask you a question that you need to answer." I said.

I don't want to be rude but I just don't want our conversation to last longer. It breaks my heart to see and to talk to her. I don't know how long I can control these tears that are about to stream down.

"O-okay...What is it?" She asked.

"What's your connection with the Fullbuster family?" I asked.

Her eyes widened when she heard the 'Fullbuster' and I noticed her body tensed.

"Why did you asked, dear?" She asked but I can feel that she's nervous.

"Just answer my question mom." I said.

"It's not that easy, dear." She said.

"It is easy, mom. You just have to tell me what are you to them. It's nothing if you didn't do anything or messed up with them." I said.

"I think this is not the right time for this." She said as she stood up.

She was about to leave when I spoke that made her stop.

"I'm already married mom. I married Gray Fullbuster, son of Silver and Mika Fullbuster." I said.

She looked at me with wide eyes and sat down again.

"Wh-why did you married him?! You should've not married that guy! Don't you know..." She immidiately stopped.

"Know what, mom?" I asked.

She kept her mouth shut and decided to just look away but I know the way I look at her she can feel it. A tear escaped my eyes.

"I was expecting you to be a mother to me, mom, even just for today...but... hell, you just failed me." I said as I stood up.

She wasn't looking at me until I spoke.

"It was nice seeing you again, mom. My baby will surely be glad to see you when I give birth." I said and smiled bitterly.

She looked at my belly that made her gasp and her eyes widened. I then started walking away. I was out of the café when she suddenly made me turn to face her by gripping my arms that was already bruised. I winced in pain. She noticed this and immidiately, let go of me.

"J-juvia...wh-why...?" She asked, her eyes watering.

"Why did I married Gray Fullbuster? Because I wanted him to accept the baby and because I learned how to love him. I only want answers from you mom on why this is happening to me. On why he is doing this thing to me..." I said and showed her my bruised arm.

She gasped. The tears that she was holding back earlier finally poured down. She was speechless.

"This is the reason why I asked you to meet me mom. Also the reason why I wanted you to answer my question because maybe, just maybe, if I find out why Gray is doing this to me...I might get his point. I wanted to know what was his Dad's mistake that I reminded to him. I wanted to know what was his nightmare mom. But you're just too selfish not to answer me. I expected too soon mom..." I said.

"J-juvia dear...please listen to me." She started and tried to hold my hand but I took back my hand.

"Don't call me dear because I was never dear to you mom. Stop making me believe that I am dear to you...it's breaking me mom...You left me in pieces...You left me broken...You ran away leaving me behind...You're so selfish." I said and walked away, ignoring her calls.

It was already night when I got home. I didn't go home straight earlier because I was still broken. Well I still am but I just fixed myself a little, for Gray not to notice. I went in our room expecting him not to be there because he always come home late but to my surprise, he was there. He was sitting on the couch, drinking his liqour in a glass as he gave me death glares.

"Where did you go?" He asked and put his glass down on the glass table.

My hands started shaking in fear as my body tensed. My heart started beating so fast as I try to answer his question.

"I-I just w-went out to meet someone." I said.

He walked to get near me as I back away.

"To meet someone or to go out on a date with a guy." He said.

"O-of course not!" I said.

He gripped my arms, both the bruised and unbruised arm. He was gripping it tightly, almost crushing my bones.

"Are you cheating on me, huh? Damn!You better dump that guy or else I'll kill him. You're mine, Juvia! You are mine! Just mine! You understand me?! I don't like sharing what's mine!" He said.

"G-gray stop! Y-you're hurting me!" I complained.

"I don't care! You will never leave me! You can never leave me! You're mine!" Gray said then pushed me on the bed.

My eyes widened even more when he got on top of me then trapped my hands using his hands.

"G-gray s-stop! I'm p-pregnant!" I said.

He didn't listened to me. He kissed me using force as I tried to get out from his grasp.

"G-Gray! Stop!"
