Chapter 32

Juvia's POV...

I woke up with tears and Gray beside me. I wrapped the blanket around me as tears continuously stream down. I looked at him once more.

How dare you...

I cried as memories of what he did last night flashed back in my mind. I don't care if he hears my cry. He abused me last night. I told him to stop but he never listened. I was so afraid last night thinking that I might lose the baby. I wiped away my tears as I move away from him.

He's really getting out of hand.

I was about to stand up when he woke up. Fear ate me again that made me shut my mouth and stopped from what I was about to do. My body tensed when I felt his arm, wrap around my waist then put a hand on my belly.

"Good morning Juvia." He said.

Even though I can't see him, I can feel him smirked. I wiped away my tears afraid that he might see me cry. I didn't cared about it when he was still asleep but when he woke up, fear suddenly ate me.

"Won't you greet me back?" He asked.

"G-good morning." I stuttered.

"How are you feeling?" He asked.

I feel abused. I am broken.

"I'm f-fine." I lied.

"Glad to know that." He said then sat down beside me.

I avoid looking at him 'cause he might just hurt me.

"I'm sorry for what I did last night." He said.

I looked at him with wide eyes. Surprised that he apologized.

He's not drunk anymore, right?

I don't know why but when I heard him apologized, what I was feeling earlier suddenly faded. What is going on with me? I didn't answered his question.

"Don't worry, the baby's safe. The doctor said it's alright to do it. I was careful last night, right? I'm still sorry about it." Gray said.

"O-okay..." Is all I have managed to say.

He then stood up. I thought he was going to leave me confused here again but to my surprise he carried me like a bride. I gasped when he did that.

"Take a shower first. I'll just be waiting here outside when you're done." He said then carefully put me down.

He went out of the bathroom.

What happened to him? He seems like in a good mood.

...

I was even more surprised when Gray ate his breakfast with me. He usually eat his breakfast in his office or anywhere but today...he ate with me. His aura was even good. I can't feel any negative energy coming from him. I wanted to ask him why he is in a good mood but I decided to keep my mouth shut. Afraid that he might change his mood and beat me. It's better this way, right? When we were done eating. I stood up about to leave the dining room when I felt him assisted me. I looked at him in surprise and he just looked at me with a smile.

What happened?

When he was about to leave I didn't expected him to kiss me on my forehead before he leave. My heart pounded so hard from what he did. I didn't recieved any violence from him this morning and even gave me a kiss on the forehead like he always did before we got married. It was still a big question mark for me.

Gray's POV...

I was typing in my laptop when Natsu suddenly came in. I just ignored him and continue to what I was doing.

"Woah, woah, woah. What is going on in this world?! Gray Fullbuster seems to be in a good mood." Natsu said.

"If you'd be just talking about nonsense things then you better leave." I said.

"I can't feel the cold aura you always wear. What happened?" Natsu asked.

"You don't have to know." I said.

"Oh come one dude. I'm really curious. Can you please tell me what happened?" Natsu asked.

"Let's just say that, I had a good night with my wife." I said.

Natsu was puzzled for a moment but then got what I actually mean.

"Oh...So Juvia must please you every night so that you're always in a good mood! What an angel she is." Natsu said.

"She doesn't need to do that every night. She's pregnant so she can possibly do that." I said.

"Oh, yeah you're right." Natsu said.

I then continue typing in my laptop when I heard him spoke.

"What will you do if she suddenly decide to leave you?" Natsu asked.

I was taken aback from what he said. I frowned. Juvia will never do that. If she wanted to leave me then she could've done that already.

"That's impossible." I said.

"I'm saying what if Gray. And it is possible. The way you treat her now, you think she can bear all the pain you're giving to her? I don't think she can." Natsu said.

"I don't care if she leave me." I said.

"Your mind is saying that but your heart says otherwise. I can see it in your eyes Gray. You wanted her to stay beside you but you're giving her so many reasons not to." Natsu said.

"Can you please just shut up? I don't need your advice now, flamebrain. I can handle this situation." I said.

"But do you think she can handle this kind of situation? Don't give her the final blow, Gray or else, she'll surely leave you." Natsu said.

"So what if she leaves me? I don't give a fvck! She can leave whenever she wanted to leave." I said.

"Oh really? But when she went out yesterday, you almost lost your sanity. You might not admit it Gray but you don't want to lose her. You're afraid to lose her." Natsu said with a smirk.

"Shut up." I said.

"Oh ho-ho! Mr. Gray Fullbuster's heart is starting to beat for his wife once more." Natsu said.

"What the hell? I don't love her!" I said.

"Oh yeah? But your heart and eyes says otherwise." Natsu said.

"Can you please just leave?" I said.

"Okay. But always remember this Gray, You can't stop your feelings forever." Natsu said before he left.

I sighed. The hell is his problem? He keeps on insisting that I care about her where in fact, I really don't. Damn you Natsu.

You're afraid to lose her.

Hell no.
