Chapter 11

CHAPTER 11

KAAVYA’s POV

I was just lying down on my bed reading a book called I’LL PROTECT YOU. This book is the best book ever. Simply amazing! Especially the male character Logan Cross. I want a guy like him in real life. I wish books were reality but then unfortunately life in books and life in reality are completely different. Plus his last name is also Cross and Tyler’s last name is also Cross. Ok I am probably not making any sense but still somewhere I wish Tyler and I actually become what Logan and Park sparrow, the female character in that book became for each other. At the end they finally realize that they are made for each other. If only…I thought and sighed.

Jyo, Juhi and Ash keep telling me that we are meant to end up together and somewhere even I hope that but again I don’t want to get carried away and then end up getting hurt in the end if nothing happens the way my friends and a small part of my heart is speculating.

I was lost in my book and my train of thoughts when the doorbell rang bringing me out of my thoughts. Mom and my elder sister Samohana wouldn’t be home so early seeing as they left only an hour back. They had gone shopping and my sister takes time shopping so it was definetly not them. So who could it possibly be? I thought

For that you need to go and open the door Kaavya. a voice from inside me said.

I smiled sheepishly at it.

Wait what did I just do? Smiled at the voice from inside my own head.

I have definitely gone bonkers.

The doorbell rang again so I quickly got up from my bed and went and opened the door.

Tyler was standing at the door with a casual smile on his face.

“Hey beautiful.” He nodded his head upwards and smiled.

God why does this boy have to be so damn hot?

I blushed and mumbled a small hi.

“So can I come in or do you plan to make me stand here only?” He asked in an amused tone.

I laughed and opened the door wider for him to enter inside.

After he entered inside I closed the door.

“So what are you doing here?” I asked curiously

“I came here to take advantage of you. I saw your mom and sister going out so I took advantage of this opportunity and dropped here.” he said such a serious tone that sent chills down my spine.

And my eyes went wide with fear for a moment when suddenly he burst out laughing.

I frowned at him.

“You scared me for a moment you jerk.” I said

 “Your expressions were hilarious Kaavya.” he said in between laughing.

“Whatever.” I said annoyed at the face that I actually bought that.

“So care to tell me the real purpose of you coming here?” I asked flatly

Suddenly his face turned into a sad expression and he asked “Why can’t I come by to see you Kaavya?”

I suddenly felt guilty for asking him that way.

I stuttered while saying “Uhh no that’s not what I meant I mean offcourse you can come but uh usally you inform……”

He cut me off with his laughter and came close.

“God Kaavya you are too innocent for your own good, relax I was just kidding.” I he said chuckling

I blushed.

“You are so cute.” He said while tugging a strand of my hair behind my ears subconsciously.

And when I realized what he just did, it sent my heart into an overdrive.

He looked at me with his piercing baby blue eyes captivating me in them.

After what felt like an eternity he cleared his throat and made me come out of my thoughts.

I lost my confidence and cast my eyes down looking down.

Slowly he put his hand on my chin and made me look upwards “Look at me Kaavya.” he said his hot and minty breath blowing on my face.

It sent chills down my spine and I couldn’t speak.

Was I dreaming or this was actually happening.

“You are eyes are so breath taking.” He said in his deep voice that I love.

Have I ever mentioned this about myself that I absolutely love American accent. I wish I had one. I always try to imitate their accent. And this Tyler freakin Cross speaking  in American accent in his hot deep voice was not helping my case since I was already going mad, my heart was doing flip-flops along with racing 100 miles a minute. God I have seriously lost it today.

“I uh...I... I thank you.” I said not being able to form a coherent sentence.

He chuckled softly at my flustered state.

“Your expressions are worth million dollars.” He commented cracking up again.

I just glared at him playfully, still flustered. He is so going to get it.

“So what did you since morning?” I asked him changing the topic.

“Missed you.” He said casually but still that made me blush.

“Oh common Kaavya you don’t need to hide your blush now at least. I know you love me I mean look at me, who wouldn’t?” he said winking

My eyes went wide for a second at his ‘I know you love me’ part but I quickly covered it up.

He obviously doesn’t know that I am actually in love with him now does he? I mean he possibly can’t because I have never given him such hints but then again my friends say that I am open book so I hope he doesn’t know.

“Ah I know everyone does.” I replied winking back.

He chuckled “Cocky much?”

I smirked in response “You are not the only one who can be cocky Mr. Tyler Cross, I can too. So apart from missing me what else did you do?”

“Nothing much. Just went to the mall you told me about to buy some clothes and grocery. He said shrugging

I nodded in response.

Then we both fell in silence until he suddenly started leaning towards me on the big couch and stopped just a few meters away.

“Uh what are you doing Ty, trying to make a move on me or something?” I asked showing as if I am getting affected by whatever he is trying to do whereas from inside I was nervous as hell.

“You know what Kaavya?” he asked, his face completely serious as he started coming more closer.

“Uh what?” I asked in a low voice not trusting my words.

“My full name coming out from your mouth sounds sexy as hell.” With each word I could feel his breath blowing on my face and I got Goosebumps all over my body.

He came closer hovering above me if that was even possible.

My heart beat had increased tenth fold.

His piercing eyes flicked between my lips and eyes.

My palms had become sweaty.

Was he going to kiss me?

That’s it I mean was I going to experience my first kiss?????????

And as if reading my thoughts he moved impossibly closer and I closed my eyes.....................
