Chapter 13

TYLER’S POV

I and Kaavya were on our way to receive Sam from the airport. I had asked Kaavya yesterday night that whether she would like to join me to go and receive Sam and she agreed. His flight was scheduled to land at 13:00 and we reached half an hour before so currently we both were waiting in the car at the international airport. I was really excited to see my best friend after a month.

“You look happy. That smile has not gone from your face since the time I met you this morning.” Kaavya said with a happy tone

I just grinned at her. “Sam and I have been like brothers since the day we met. We are brothers from different mothers. He has been through my thick and thin. Any advice needed and we turn to each other to seek it.” I stated, thinking about the earlier incidents.

She nodded smiling.

Then she said “I had no idea about Sam and don’t know his brother also all that well since he just shifted a few months ago and most of the time he is on tours for business purpose so never really got to meet him apart from once or twice.”

I nodded.

After about ten minutes we decided to go out and stand at the receiving area and as soon as we reached that place the announcement started regarding the flight from L.A being arrived.

Five minutes later the passengers started coming out and after a few passengers came Sam, I he spotted me immediately and made his way towards us. He was dressed up to impress as usual with a beige button down and black jeans with Nike dunks and black aviators. I could imagine the girls drooling at him.

He finally reached the place where we were standing and we did the guy handshake and did the manly hug.

“How are you man?” he asked smiling broadly

“As good and dashing as ever.” I said winking

“More like cocky.” He smirked

I just chuckled.

Then I realized that Kaavya was standing there awkwardly looking between us.

I held her hand and pulled her close beside my side and introduced her to Sam.

“Sam, meet Kaavya.” I said still having a hold on her hand.

He smirked at us and turned towards Kaavya.

I just rolled my eyes.

“Hey Kaavya. So you are the girl that has got my best friend whipped. It’s about time we met. Nice meeting you. ” he said smirking at her but later offered a polite smile, stretching his hand forward for her to shake it.

Red graced her cheeks as she spoke in a low voice “Hi Sam, it’s nice to meet you too.”  She said politely

“It’s so good to be back in India.” Sam said happily

We laughed and made our way towards the car.

I opened the passenger door for Kaavya and at this Sam winked at me.

God help me!

He is not going to leave a single opportunity to tease the life out of me.

Then Sam got into the back with me in the driver’s seat and we made out of the parking place.

“So how was your journey?” I asked Sam

“It was long and tiring but there is always this fun part.” He said winking at me.
