Cross country love

Chapter 8

JUHI’S POV

“Jyoti where are the the colour pencils and the photo printouts which I took in the morning?”

“It must be on my study table, check it out.” Jyoti replied from the living room.

I went to check it on her study table and found it there.

It was 2:00 in the afternoon and Kaavya and Ashley would be arriving in an hour or so to make the scrap book for Jyo. It was a waste calling boys because firstly they won’t do a single work and secondly wouldn’t let us also do the work.  In short they were of no use except spoiling the work.

I arranged everything and kept on the table including all the colour pens and pencils, pencils, sticking gum, cello tape, the scrap book and photos of us.

Then I went outside in the living room and plopped down beside Jyo on the couch where she was watching a romantic movie on television and munching on a chocolate bar.

“Jyoti do you think that something might or will happen between Kaavya and Tyler?” I asked

“Wow random much.” Jyo commented

“Yeah now answer.”

“What do you think?”

“I personally feel that something will happen with the way they spend time, we all know that Kaavya likes him for a long time now but I have observed the way Tyler looks at her I mean there is a spark in his eyes when he looks at her. And now that we can see them standing together, talking in reality I feel they make a very good couple.”

Jyo started laughing and said “This doesn’t sound like you Juhi. All bookish language. Are you ok?” she asked with an amused expression on her face.

I laughed back and said “Yes I am absolutely fine but when I think of it this is what I really feel.”

After a minute or two of silence Jyo finally spoke “You know I kind of agree with you, I also sometimes feel when I see Tyler and Kaavya together that they are meant for each other but again we can’t rely only on our instincts I mean he is still a famous pop-star who stays in America and has come here only for the Summer so when he goes back, then what? So whatever happens I just hope no one gets hurt at the end especially Kaavya.”

“Hmm you are right. Let’s hope all goes well.” I smiled

And then we continued watching the movie.

Around 3:15, the bell rang and I instantly knew who it was so I went and opened the door.

Kaavya and Ashley strolled in with a bag each on their shoulders; they must be having clothes in their bags for the night out.

“Waddup girlies?” Ash said

Kaavya gave each of us a hi-fi.

“So let’s go inside the room and get started then?” Jyo asked

“What’s the rush? I am hungry so feed me first.” Ash groaned and said

I rolled her eyes, laughing and went inside the Kitchen with Kaavya to get the food.

While Ash and Jyo plopped on the couch watching T.V.

Lazy butts I tell you.

After ten minutes me and Kaavya came out in the living room with two bowls of pop-corn and Maggi (everyone’s favorite). Kaavya again went inside the kitchen to get the bottles of coke and fanta.

All of us were eating like pigs as if we haven’t eaten food since a long time and watching THE VOW. I absolutely love that movie.

By the time we finished eating, it was 4.
