CHAPTER-3

Tyler's POV

My alarm buzzed..I groaned and put it off. The time showen on the clock was 9:00 a.m so I yawned and got out of bed.

A week had passed and we roamed everyay from day till night..sometimes just driving around the city or she took me to some new place or at other times we just went to the famous restaurants out here for either lunch or dinner followed by long drives. Mumbai was a very beautiful place minus the traffic..i was enjoying a lot here especially with her being around..she was really fun to be around.. We had become good friends by now. We fought and argued on petty things, mostly started by me. It was fun messing with her and pulling her leg to see her different expressions which were sometimes hilarious and sometimes cute. We got to know each other mor closely.

Today was a Sunday so I was not in a mood to go anywhere as I was feeling too lazy.. thus I decided to text Kaavya asking her to just come to my place and we could watch a movie together with pop-corn n some drinks.

After sometime my phone buzzed, I opened it and it was a message from her saying 'Guess what I feel the same today so I am cool with it! lemme know the time'

'Haha ok then come by 12 or something.'

She replied 'Cools..see you then. sio nara! :)'

By that time I finished taking bath and went to the grocery to buy sone snacks and soft drinks.

After coming home, I made some pasta (her fav.), caramel popcorn and thumbs up for drink.

The bell rang, it was 12:30 so I figured it would be her.

I went to open the door but I saw no one..so I went out to look but strangely I couldn't see anyone..thus I came back inside and closed the door..

As I started walking back inside..

BOOOOOOOO..

someone caught me from behind and startled, my right leg got hooked with 1 of the legs of centre table and I tripped backward collapsing on the couch..with me on top and the other person under me..

I looked down and saw it was Kaavya and for a moment my breath caught in my throat we were literally inches apart. She looked so beautiful with the slight beam of light coming from outside fell on her face.

Her eyes were wide with surprise and her lips parting every now and then..

After what seemed like eternity I finally got up and offered my hand to her..she took and I pulled her up softly.

The embarrassed expression on her face was quite amusing..

'What were you trying to do Kaavya?'

In a low voice, she replied 'I was trying to scare you, when you went outside, I sneaked in quietly and hid by the shoe rack to scare you but..

But obviously that didn't work and instead of scaring me, you ended up falling along with me' I said laughing..

She frowned and said 'No you are wrong Mr. Cross. You did get scared and that's how you tripped bringing me down as with you as well, u scared man'

I chuckled and said 'No I didn't get scared..you have got it all wrong sweetheart'

'No I haven't'

'Yes you have'

I said NO

But I am saying YES

NO

YES
