Katherine's POV
'See you tomorrow Katherine.' Nick said as he walked past.
'Bye.' I continued typing as he left to go home.
I was really tired. I'd spent hours last night typing up reports and I still hadn't finished. And Nick wasn't letting me slack off.
Asshole.
But then again, he was my boss, so I had to do what he said, or get fired. I sighed. I still remembered that call I'd got from the board, saying that they'd placed Nick as permanent CEO and that I was being demoted. It had been a bitter blow. I was still not happy about it, but I'd learned to accept it. There was nothing I could do now.
I sighed again. A lot had changed in 22 years.
Nick's POV
'Will? You home?' I called when I got into the house.
'We're in the living room dad! You wouldn't believe who's here!' He shouted back.
I frowned and went into the living room. Will was sat on the sofa, next to a very familiar tall blonde girl and a smaller blonde girl.
'Eve? KT?' I grinned.
'Uncle Nick!' Eve smiled widely and hugged me.
'Hi Eve.' I chuckled. 'When did you two get here?'
'Around midday.' Will explained, beaming. 'Me and Lils were in the kitchen when we heard the front door. Then these two little freaks enter the kitchen.'
'Hey, that's not nice!' KT laughed. I was very surprised. KT seemed a lot more human than the last time I saw her.
'How was work? How is Katherine?' Eve questioned as we all sat down.
'Work is great, business is booming.' I grinned. 'And Katherine's fine.'
'She's had the cure then?' KT asked.
'Yep.' I nodded. 'Anyway, what do you want for dinner, Will? I was thinking spag bol maybe?'
'Sure, that sounds great.' He agreed. 'Can I invite Lily for dinner?'
'I suppose. She is your girlfriend after all.' I said and went into the kitchen to start on dinner.
Lily's POV
'Hey guess what Lils?' Will said, as soon as I pressed answer.
'What?'
'I asked dad if you could come over for dinner and he said yes. So, do you want to?' He asked.
'Sure, why not?' I told him. 'I'm not really doing anything anyway. I'll be right over.'
'Okay. See you soon. Love you Lils!'
I laughed. 'Love you too Will.'
